The redheaded woman practically purrs when she walks up to him, and he places a finger under her chin, lifting her head with a cold smile.
“Such a good little kitty you are.” He says, his voice cold. She purrs even more.
“They refused to denounce the pack.” She remarks, smirking at me. Her eyes glittering with spite and smugness.
“Well, we’ll have to talk about that later. Those are the alarms. They know you are gone. Come on, let's go. Alpha wants to see you.” I raise an eyebrow.
“I thought your Alpha knew nothing of what you are doing, other than the contract with the Powell’s, which he thought was legal?” I state, crossing my arms. He stares at me for a brief moment, but then he shrugs.
