Alpha Calvin asked, his voice filled with urgency. Marcus took a deep breath, his voice laced with disappointment. "Alpha Calvin, I regret to inform you that the only information I could gather is that Ariel's claimed mate is just a soldier for the Alpha King. There are no records or substantial evidence to suggest that their bond is genuine." Alpha Calvin's heart sank at the news. He had hoped that Ariel's mate would be from another pack, presenting an opportunity to form alliances and strengthen connections. But if her claimed mate was merely a soldier, it meant that their plans for an alliance with Xavier's pack could potentially be derailed.
