The voice cracked like thunder through the hall. Magister Caelum’s magic slammed into the air, a storm of pressure that shoved students back in their seats and tore Alaric away from her with invisible force. Sera hit the floor again with a gasp, clutching her leg. Blood smeared her calf, bright against the pale stone. She looked up in a daze just in time to see Alaric stagger backward, chest heaving, lips wet with crimson. His eyes were black fire. And then realization crashed into them.

Kael said as everyone stared at Seris wide-eyed. “Thank you for helping my Alpha, I am Young Beta Atlas. “ Atlas said to Seris who stared at him like he had two heads. “What's your name” Kael asked Seris. Seris who immediately stabbed her sword on the floor and knelt down like a Knight. “Seris Mahina, Young Alpha King.” Seris said. “Seris.....” Kael said again as Seris looked at him. I muttered. The unknown male voice spoke again, his words carrying a sense of determination. "Your mate's love will awaken a dormant power within you, Serena.
