Always Two There Are Novels & Stories

That felt like a contraction, why did that feel like a contraction? “Ah, baby number two is ready I see” Dr Tenner said as he disappeared between my legs again. “Excuse me?” Roe gasped, “What do you mean baby number two?” Lunaya snapped, “Twins, ladies, I mean there’s twins” Dr Tenner called. How in the bloody hell did we not know there were two babies in there. Make sense given how huge I was. “No. She can't be having twins, Weres almost never have twins” Roe argued. There was no point in fighting it, I could sure as shit feel another one was coming out. But I don’t understand why she isn’t more excited.

Leam said as he took a quick bite of the eggs. “That is true. It is extremely rare for someone to have two mates, even for twins. It is usually only alpha twins that have a single mate. Although it doesn’t make sense to me.” Lucas said and Leam nodded in agreement. “Considering we are encouraged to have many pups. Not exactly fair to our single mate, is it?” Leam mentioned. “Right, yeah. I was definitely not expecting two mates. I was expecitng more than one and I guess I am worried that I won't be able to satisfy you.”

she pauses and sighs, realization washing over her, “…is it Matteo?” “It's always Matteo” a tear falls from my eyes, “he can never leave my system Aunt Gil, he is always in my head, in my heart…everywhere, I can't seem to flush him out of my system.” “Even despite your love for Dex?” “Even despite my love for Dex” I sit up, “it's like I'm being pulled in two different directions and I can't seem to choose and I pride myself with facing dilemmas head on” I chuckle, “just not this one”

“All this time… it was you.” Celeste said nothing at first. She only held Katie’s gaze, her silence deeper than words. Then, at last, she gave a single, solemn nod.

"I have your schedule remember now we definitely have to go shopping!" If someone had asked me whether I wanted my head spit roasted slowly over hell fire or go shopping with Casey, I'd probably pick the spit roast, but unfortunately no one asked, so there I am in the mall dragging Casey's arse away from things that cost more than my left arm, did I mention this happened almost every three minutes. "We definitely have to get these." She says for the umpteenth time staring at a pair of silver studs. "No!"I yell at her for the umpteenth time. "Just glance and pass."

Zane As I sat with my personal cabinet, discussing the intricate details of our latest ventures, the atmosphere in the room was a mix of intensity and confidence. We had been working tirelessly to expand our influence, and the success of our operations depended heavily on precision and secrecy. My advisors, each an expert in their field, were laying out the plans with meticulous care. Just as my chief strategist, Lila, was about to present her latest analysis on our territorial gains, the door swung open with a force that silenced the room.

Alpha argued strongly. "You both might be mates but your relationship would only bring a tragic end for both of you and those around you. Though two people might be destined for each other that does not mean they would live a happy or fulfilling life" Mirabel added and stared at my palm. "She would bring misfortune to you and you would bring misfortune to her, the both of you will bring each other nothing but agony–" "Enough!" Alpha Trent shrilled in a nettled way. We all were scared by his sudden outburst.

“Regarding bonding.” “Oh?” I said, hoping there might be some silver lining about my bond with Lucien.” “You can have more than one bond.” “At a time?” I’d heard that after the death of a mate, wolves sometimes took a new one. “Not just a mate, Soraya. But a bond.” I let those words sink in, and I felt that inner zing again when my eyes met Gabriel’s. “My eyes just flashed again, didn’t they?” Gabriel’s eyes were full gold, his wolf right at the edge of bursting free. “Yes.”

Then Maris said, “Maybe he still did.” Anaïs looked over. “He was paranoid,” Maris went on. “Obsessive about redundancy. If we find the original access node—the one he logged into the night we pulled the vault—maybe we’ll find the second key stored locally.” “That vault was in a blacksite,” Cassian reminded her. “It’s buried now.” “Then we find what’s left.” They didn’t argue after that. Because even if it sounded impossible, it was something. And right now, that was better than more silence.

"I've been monitoring. Documenting. Analyzing. When he's close, your Eclipse power resonates differently. Harmonizes. Like two frequencies aligning perfectly." "What does that mean?" "It means you're connected. Magically. Energetically. Beyond normal bonds. Beyond typical relationships. Something the goddess designed. Something rare. Something special." "I found something," Lyric said, pulling out her laptop. "Research. Ancient texts. Historical documentation. About dual mate bonds." "Dual mate bonds?" I repeated. "It's rare but not impossible. Some wolves are designed by the goddess to have two true mates. Not sequential. Simultaneous. Both legitimate. Both fated. Both necessary."
