Rhea’s POV “If you’re my curse, I’m the luckiest cursed son of a bitch in this whole universe” How deeply this sentence burned through me in the most vulnerable place within me cannot even be described in words. It touched the core of my heart and nestled itself in there forevermore. It lit a match of fire back into me and the impossible thing I told him would never happen, happened. Scattered dead pieces of me sparked back to life. Reborn again from his vows and promises to me.

"I'm cursed" I clamped my hands over my mouth to prevent me from screaming. "What kind of curse?" I asked curiosity getting the best out of me. "I don't have human feelings, I can't be happy, I can't be sad, I can't fall in love, anything feelings, I don't have" What?! I almost cried for him as he spoke, how did he get cursed? Who did he offend? How does he cope? "Why are you telling me?" I asked.

I felt intimidated by someone else's presence. "You played with my people, with my subject. You made decisions on my behalf. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!!!" She shrieked, and I tried to shift backwards in fear, but the chains held me in one place. "You had zero traumas. Not a wicked parent, nobody bullied you. No reason to have acted like a God. And for this reason, I have decided not to pity you." She paused, "Blackwood, you have been cursed by me... to never find death. Death has abandoned you!"

Ethan clutched his head in despair, his voice raspy as he said, "It's not like that, Amelia. Please believe me. I've always loved you and Heidi. I never thought something like this would happen. I really—" "Shut up!" I interrupted him, my rage burning, "How dare you say you loved us? If you really loved us, this wouldn't have happened! You're nothing but a hypocrite and a scumbag!"
