The gun shop was eighty miles from the Hilton. He checked into the Hilton, room 921, early. He knew the rooms on the eighth floor were cleaned during the one o'clock hour every day. The crew doing the ninth floor was done at noon. He checked in and as soon as he was in the room drilled the hole just like the test hole he had done the day before. An hour later he watched the maid collect the rugs and wash down all the surfaces where dust might have landed. He smiled.

Charlotte laughed. "No, I'm training to be in the army. I met Violet two days ago, she has joined Silveran's royal healers. You can go visit her someday" "You must be Hazel" the first woman said, gazing at her. She was tall and athletical looking. This woman towered above Caden. She seemed to be around seven feet tall. Hazel felt like an ant compared to her. She had high cheekbones, almond shaped silver eyes, with a scar trailing down from her left temple to her jaw.

Hazel pulled into the company parking lot, her tires screeching slightly as she brought her car to a halt. She didn't waste any time, quickly exiting the vehicle and striding towards the lounge area. That's where she spotted Summer, her manager, who was already seated and sipping on a cup of coffee. As soon as Summer caught sight of Hazel, a warm smile spread across her face. "Oh, Hazel!" she exclaimed, setting her cup down. "You look like you're in a hurry. Is everything okay?"

He vanishes, leaving me standing in the rain, wondering if I'm making a mistake. Turning, I trot up Hazel's porch steps, knocking on the door. She isn't home, which is expected. She looks after children at a facility in the centre of the Pack's main city. It's one of the only places that is open anymore. Fishing her spare key out from under a porch ornament, I unlock her door and step inside. She has always told me I could borrow her car while she was at work, since she usually catches a ride with a coworker.

Eden muttered quietly and immediately continued to do her duties. Luckily today she checked her voice mailbox which turned out to be a message from Hazel. Don't know where the woman is now, but Hazel said she was fine. In his message, she said that she was not in Seattle, and was calming down after Calvin's kidnapping of her. Then at the end of the message, Hazel also mentioned that Eden didn't need to look for her anywhere. Even at Katrina's house in Tacoma. Because of that, Eden finally told the two stupid cops that Hazel was in Tacoma. In fact Hazel wasn't there, and the two cops weren't going to get anything when they got there to meet Hazel. -00-

She returned the smile with equal warmth. “Please come in.” She added and opened the door. “I'm glad you do.” Hazel replied, stepping into her humble apartment. Her eyes surveyed the place with wide curious eyes. “This place is very comfy.” She remarked with genuine appreciation.

Hazel stood in Axel's office, a duster in hand, as she meticulously wiped the dust off the shelves. The soft hum of the air conditioner filled the room, creating a cocoon of tranquility around her as she worked with quiet diligence. As she focused on her task, lost in the rhythm of cleaning, the door creaked open, and Axel entered the room. Hazel's heart skipped a beat as she turned to see him standing there, his gaze meeting hers in a moment of silent recognition.

Anna sighed, "shit, I shouldn't have left you with him, I am so sorry." Hazel shook her head, "no it's okay, I am not a child you have to babysit." She said, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I just don't think I am having as much fun as you are over here, infact, I already want to leave." She frowned. Anna nodded her head in understanding, "I am sorry, I should have known this isn't your kind of scene, we can leave right away if you want to." Hazel nodded, turning to stare around he. Her eye widened like saucers as they came in contact with the two men that walked in, heading up a flight of stairs to something she could only assume was the VIP section.
