I stuttered still surprised, she packed all her things in a big backpack and then we walked around the subway and got to the other side. "The last time I saw Amber, she's in the hospital, she had bruises all over her body and she lost her baby as well" She uttered as she closed her eyes and opened them. "What did you just say?" I was wondering if she was just joking with her words. "I only said what my mind made me see, she's in the hospital down the road, receiving treatment on her wounds that was incurred by Bellamy." the mention of Bellamy I knew that she was only saying what she saw.

Mia rants anxiously with concern look while Amber sniffles on the armchair with her legs curl up. "Talk to me babe, are you sick?" Mia ask, worried. "I have been suspended" Amber manage to speak through her sniffle. "Suspended? Why?" Mia ask anxiously this Amber begin explaining the incident to Mia. "Half a billion! That's impossible" Mia exclaim in astonishment. "Of course it is, this is my phone. Why haven't I received any alert?" Amber ask confuse as tears roll down to her cheeks, Mia hurriedly sit closer to Amber and begin caressing her back gently.

Amber glanced toward the kitchen where Rina was deliberately pretending not to listen while drying another plate. A tiny smile tugged at her lips. "I've been... alright." "I'm glad." "And you? How's your daughter and grandchild, too?" Alice paused before answering. "We're all fine. Thanks to God." Another brief silence followed. Then Alice took a deep breath. "The truth is... I didn't call just to ask how you were. I owe you an apology.." “Apology?” Amber frowned. “For what?” “For the anonymous messages you received at the time you were at Sir Leon's place.”

Amber had to keep encouraging him, even though deep down, she was scared shitless herself. They were about to leave for the police station when her phone rang. It was from an unknown number, but she answered it anyway. Had she chosen to ignore the phone call that particular morning, the lives of the Banks siblings would have turned out very differently. But she did, and because of that single phone call, Amber Banks and her brother truly tumbled down the rabbit hole into a living nightmare.

The news of Amber's capture spread rapidly throughout the entire New Chesire Group. Almost every department frantically dialed Alexander's phone. Some even even contacted the criminal investigation department, pleading for them to quickly rescue Amber. Unfortunately, it was all in vain. Even though they knew Amber had been taken to the Ol' Mare Grand Hotel, the criminal investigation department dared not easily send people to provoke. They merely symbolically dispatched a few cars to the hotel entrance, sounding their horns as a warning.

The silence of the forest had been her breath of relief. But calm was always temporary. Amalia was in the house library, going through the documents June and Kari had managed to recover from Project Phoenix. The clock read a quarter past seven when the sharp buzz of the device on the table shattered the stillness. A message. Unknown sender. "They're already moving. You won't make it in time if you wait any longer." She frowned. It wasn’t the first anonymous warning. And each time, the information was more accurate. Too accurate.

Amber was already halfway to a place she once swore she'd never step foot in again when her phone buzzed from inside her bag. She wanted to ignore it and focus only on the road ahead, but with everything happening and Damon missing, she couldn't afford to miss a call. It could be news. Good or bad, she needed to know. She pulled over at a safe spot, reached into her bag, and checked the screen. An unknown number flashed on her screen. Yet… something about it felt familiar.

AMBER’S POV It’s been two months since Alice left and I’ve missed her. It was so good to finally find someone I could relate to. Before we became friends we were like magnets of the same poles. We were sworn enemies who didn’t wish for the well being of the other. We both became friends because of the help of Aloha Scott. If he hadn’t pushed us together in the pretext of dining we wouldn’t have become friends so I’m indebted to him. “What’s wrong, Amber? You’ve been spacing out quite a lot lately,” Beth said with a worried look laced around her face.

“So, where are you going?” “Alex will show me a few of his customed jewelry.” He says sarcastically, “you're planning to Rob a bank to get it?” ”No, dad, he owns a few stores.” Joshua then intervenes; “hey, dad, can we talk in private?” “Sure, son” Lucifer snaps his fingers as the bodyguards move away. “I got myself into a situation.
