THE ALPHA FIERCE LUNA
Their hands were busy, mending clothes, preparing herbs, peeling fruit, but their eyes lit up the moment they saw me.
“Luna Serena,” one of them greeted warmly, dipping her head.
I smiled, easing into the chair Alina pulled out for me. “Just Serena tonight. What are we working on?”
Alina laughed softly, passing me a small basket of herbs. “You’re just in time. The warriors have eaten half our stores, and someone has to help me keep them alive through the winter.”
I chuckled and began sorting leaves as instructed. The simple rhythm of it was oddly comforting, the quiet chatter, the crackle of the fire, the familiarity of hands working side by side.
