Everything in the house was very expensive for a small biker like him. “Kai…” I called softly. He appeared in front of me with a glass of water. “Drink.” I took it, but my hands were shaking too badly to lift it to my lips. My phone buzzed suddenly. I almost ignored it… until I saw the message preview from Alicia. Lydia Wolfe was attacked by two unidentified bikers… My breath caught in my throat. I picked up the phone and viewed the message. I wanted to teach her a little lesson by sending Alicia my friend but she said she was already attacked.

Amelia POV I continued to stare at his gorgeous face without a word. His thin pink lips moves, forming words I couldn’t hear. His left eyebrow raised questionly as he stared back at me. “Hey?” He asked, waving his hand in front of my face, trying to snap me back into reality. “O- uh… yh?” I stuttered, my voice annoyingly breathless and low. “Do you want to get outta here sweetheart?” He whispered softly and seductively, his lips near my ear so I could hear him over the loud music.

“Come, you need to rest.” “I... y-you...” Amelia blinked. “Shhhh,” I shunned her, seeing the shock in her eyes. We would talk about this later. For now, I had things to handle. “Come, you look pale,” Ophelia whispered circling the table to Amelia as Amelia got up from the chair looking perplexed, her face contouring as she tries to process what had just happened. She stared at Ophelia as they leave the banquet. Amelia’s departure with Ophelia echoed in the banquet hall, leaving an air of tension. As they left, everyone in the banquet hall, including my pack members and the other Alphas, watched them attentively.

“ I am sorry, I promise I wont leave you alone again.” “You better not or else I will karate chop your head.” Amelthia said while hugging back and making Felix chuckle. Felix looked down at her while smiling “Do you even know how to do that huh??” Amelthia heard his chuckle and looked up at him and she froze because of the close proximity in between them. The time stopped for both of them. Felix looked at her eyes finding them very attractive like they could hold the whole galaxy in them. I am about to apologize and grovel on hands and knees if needed for her to overlook what just happened but Olivia always has the best timing. “Noah you remember Amelia Beckett. She has been my best friend forever. We went away to boarding school together and well I decided it would be fun to bring her along.” She says as she snaps Amelia out of her trance. “Anyways we should put our stuff on the porch to join in on the festivities. Finally, his voice cut through, low and sharp. “Why?” Amelia’s cheeks flushed. “Why would you care about what Kai is going through? While I understand that made Stew talk, I doubt that any of them would be losing consciousness.” She turned her face away but answered, barely above a whisper. “Because I… I care about him. I didn't want anything happening to him. I was scared of losing him.” “Losing him?” Liam asked, raising an eyebrow. “I’m in love with him.” If her voice was just above a whisper before then, now it was a lot lower than that. Both Liam and I looked at one another. His eyes flickered, a shadow crossing his features, but he didn't say another word.

I said before turning to Kairos and sending him a smile. “Ok now that that is done,I and my husband have plans of getting champagne to celebrate the new year so we would be off.” Amelia said as he pulled her husband away as he followed her like a lost puppy. “They look so in love.” I whisper in a daze,stil stricken by thier love. “Yes they are.” The deep voice of Kairos whispered his voice fanning my ear. “Who are they?” I asked still confused about thier relationship with Kairos.
