even suicide. ‘She was feeling so traumatized that day after the gunshot.’ Aria pondered. ‘Maybe she’s had some time to cool off, and is probably feeling remorseful.’ She thought. Unfortunately, what she did not know was that Amelia was now a crime lord and a drug baron, leading a group of dangerous criminals. Ignorant of this, she planned to set out the next day to look for her to find out what her problem was, and probably talk some sense into her.

The guards looked confused, unsure who to believe. Amelia pulled out her phone with shaking hands. She dialed Reyes while staring straight at Katherina. “It’s Amelia,” she said when he answered. Her voice was cold steel. “I need you to destroy Katherina. Everything. Phone records. Bank accounts. Every text, every email, every meeting with Gabriella Guerra. I want proof she poisoned Valentina. Twice.” Reyes was quiet for a second. “Ms. Stone… are you sure?” “Dead sure,” Amelia said, eyes locked on her sister.

Frantically, I searched every isle, every store, every toilet and everything in the mall, including several streets away, but neither found her not a whiff of her scent. That was when the realization struck me, and my heart broke into several pieces, when I realized that she took the opposite path. A very perilous one. I would’ve felt her if she was at the human world. As for Amelia, I saw her in the CCTV footages with Marissa. That was when I knew that Amelia had something to do with that. She is a very smart woman and knew what to do or say to get Marissa go down the wrong path. Her crime deserved the most grave punishment, her aim was to kill her luna, my mate.

"In a joint operation with INTERPOL, Amelia Fairmount was apprehended at Verona-Villafranca Airport in Italy..." My head snapped up to see the screen... to see her. There she was—Amelia, my awful stepmother who had been on the run for years. She was being escorted by officials, handcuffed, with a completely different hair color. She tried to hide her face from the cameras, but there was no way to conceal the shame. How could she? The news anchor was listing all the charges against her, including her ties to the Kramers. Everyone knew their name by now as well as the countless crimes they'd committed. Vincent and his wife, Angie, were still on the run.

She had worn gloves throughout the whole operation so there would be no fingerprints that would be found on him. Amelia's subordinate who followed Sandra at a distance was not shocked by what he had just seen. He had followed Amelia for a long time and he knew from experience that it was ladies like this who claimed to be from a high class in the society that were capable of committing the most heinous crimes. If this lady could have wanted to kill his boss then this simple murder was nothing to her. He quickly took pictures and recordings of all that he had witnessed and sent them to Amelia. Amelia was already at her home when the pictures and video came into her phone from her subordinate.

“Keep talking, Amelia. I know you are afraid, but trust me I will find you. I just need to reach your mind.” “Who are you? How are you able to do this?” Amelia asked. “Am I going crazy?” Jasmine scoffed. “No. I’m Jasmine Peters. I may be the crazy one. Just keep talking to me okay. It will be over soon. I know you are afraid.” “Yes please, please! I’m running out of air!”

Freddie wedged his foot inside to prevent him from closing the door. “I’m right here. Ask your boss.” The man scowled at him and disappeared inside while they all waited for some information on Matteo. “I think they’ve kept him imprisoned inside,” said Amelia, as a tremor went down her spine at the thought. “It’s not so easy to detain him. Matteo is very intelligent. He will find a way to escape.” Yet Amelia couldn’t help the feeling of dread from gripping her mind. He might be intelligent, but these people were actual criminals. They could stoop to any level.

But now, faced with this new layer of deception, doubt began to seep into her mind. "Agent Jameson," she spoke up, her voice filled with equal parts fear and determination. "If what you say is true, then why involve me? Why chase us down like criminals?" The agent turned his gaze to her, his eyes cold and calculating. "You, Miss Amelia, are collateral. You've been entangled in Mr. Collins' web, and we can't overlook that fact. But rest assured, our primary concern is capturing him and bringing him to justice. Your fate will be determined by the extent of your involvement."

"What do you want, Amelia? State your endgame." Amelia looked directly into the camera lens, her expression cold and unyielding. "I want exactly what was violently stolen from my family's bloodline twenty-four years ago." "You have already taken enough blood from this city," Lorenzo countered. "No," Amelia whispered, her smile widening into something truly monstrous. "I have merely been collecting the interest on a debt. Tonight, I collect the principal." The master countdown on the wall violently flashed, the numbers changing. **04:17** Suddenly, Matteo’s tactical communication hub violently buzzed in his hand. He answered the encrypted feed immediately. As the audio filtered through his ea

He'll never let me come anyway. . . . Amelia's P. O. V The alarm had gone off minutes ago but I lay paralysed on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Mabel had called last night saying the police couldn't find anyone suspicious so whoever did this was running free. I couldn't be more heartbroken.
