With a choir, singing in her living room! “Beth,”Emma said ever so sweetly,“honey, are you totally sure you weren't having a dream? You must realize how this sounds! All this talk of caskets and corn children giving you ominous warnings….did you watch a horror movie before bed?You know how those upset you.” Beth composed herself as best she could.”No, I didn't watch a horror movie Em.I came downstairs thinking I’d left the telly on and there in my living room was a casket with me in it!And a choir of children.”

“Fine, but only because all of these hybrids have Lycan in them and if we can save them, they may become part of our pack. You need to know what we’re up against.” We make our way back but before we meadow and realize something is wrong. As I look down from Avani's back, I can see that the field that looked like an animal massacre, with body parts strewn everywhere, is now bare. Only the blood remains as proof of what was here only an hour ago. Casmir POV “Who are they?” Rihan asks beside me. “No idea,” I say. The pain of my shift is still emanating all over my body and I’m starving. They interrupted our feeding.

I stared at him in even more confusion and blinked my eyes rapidly trying to grasp what he just said when my head start to hurt, the pain started small and it advanced and before I knew it all I could see was black. I was awake again, only this time my head doesn't hurt that much anymore and I remember who I am but I'm not in the same place I was before I blacked out. What is this place? There's blood everywhere, the smell is driving me crazy, I have to leave before I kill someone. I tried to stand up but my legs felt like jelly. I regained my balance and tried to find my way out of this strange place before I turn full vamp. As I went farther away the smell of blood reduced and my urges les

“I'm.. I'm okay.“ I stuttered quickly. Ina gave a slight shrug and closed up the wound with a smaller band. A warm tingle worked through me, like some fresh healing magic, light but effective. “I would leave a tonic for strength, make sure to drink up before the moon sets.“ She said, already repacking while I gave a half smile. ^ ^ ^ ^ My breath caught, and then ripped out of me in a scream. “Stop!“ I jolted up from the bed, chest heaving, sweat glistening on my hands and striking down my hair to my face. The darkness had swallowed the room but the image still stayed vivid to sight, as clear as morning. Darius' guards had chased after me, I ran further and faster almost close to safety, pant

The Castle. Defeating the laws of speed and distance they challenged the time and there they were. The hall wasn’t that empty like last time. Ace and Zol were sitting on their respective seats. While Adam was sitting on a chair facing the center. Unbothered by Stephen or his friends. Stephen followed his gaze and his cool was shattered. Callum was tied to a chair. Conscious. Afraid. Crying. Gagging on the cloth tied in his mouth. "Why"? He just turned to Zol who pointed at Adam.

It brought monsters from the past. The roaring sound of helicopter blades suddenly filled his ears. Ashton began to move restlessly beneath the blanket. His breathing quickened, turning short and ragged. In his sleep, he was once again inside a violently shaking cabin. Deafening warning alarms blared as the sight of the earth rushing closer crashed into him. “No! Don’t!” Ashton cried out, restrained. His body tensed violently. Cold sweat poured from his forehead, soaking his silk pillow. Avery jolted awake. She immediately turned on the bedside lamp and gasped at Ashton’s condition. The man looked extremely pale, his lips trembling, his eyes closed yet moving wildly beneath his lids.

It fell head-first to the ground, I picked it up and got more frightened when a huge amount of ash poured out Oh my goodness. I covered my mouth with my palm, I couldn't behold what I saw, my phone fell to the ground as well. Fear hit me as I watched unblinking as that ash transformed into a naked young man with fiery eyes. Runes similar to the one on the object he was in were on his body. I had lost control of my body. My heart raced, and black ink covered my vision as I stood pinned to that spot. “A child?” Did he just speak to me?

His anxiety heightened his wolf's senses so he was able to hear faint sounds coming from underneath the building. He trailed the sounds and noticed they were coming from the basement. He rushed down and pushed the door open. The scene before him shattered his heart. His son was bundled up, cuts were all over his face, his lips were chapped and blue in color while his face had no blood in it. His mate was worse; she laid lifeless on the floor with blood and wounds all over her body. What has she done to them?? The maniac in question stood triumphantly next to Alyssa, she was holding a syringe in her hand. She felt the presence of another person so she turned to see who it was.

The grass beneath her feet didn’t crush, it wilted, burned faintly at the edges, like it was aging too fast. “I remember what you wrote,” Ashen said. “You made me out of stars and soot. You made me to carry endings.” Liora’s throat tightened. “You were supposed to find people who were forgotten. You were supposed to help them.” Ashen’s eyes turned completely black. “But I was never allowed to live. You locked me in a story without a final page.” The words hung between them, Behind Liora, the forest whispered, Not wind, Voices, Low, Curious, Awakened. She turned slowly and saw them, Figures emerging from the shadows of trees, Dozens of them. Some half-formed, Others far too real.

Apparently the Gods are cruel enough to give me one monster and then send me directly into the arms of another. His dark brows pull together. “Maeve?” I step back, but way too fast. My shoulder hits the wall. There is no one else in the hallway. No Seyla. No Luca. No Lyra. No one. Just Callan Ravaryn. The son of the man who murdered my parents. The son of the reason my life ended five years ago. My breath comes faster now and my visions darkens.
