Harsa berharap, sang istri, Siti Latifa, yang kerap dipanggil Ifa, itu, urung meninggalkannya. Karena, sejujurnya ia masih sangat merindukannya. Dengan memejamkan mata malas, sesaat Latifa berusaha meredam rasa yang sulit diartikan saat ini, akhirnya ia memilih sambil meredam kekesalannya dan masih tetap pada posisinya, duduk di tepi tempat tidur dan urung  hendak beranjak dari tempat tidur tersebut. Ada rasa bercampur aduk dalam hati Siti Latifa saat ini, antara rindu, kesal juga benci, ketika mengingat perlakuan suaminya terdahulu kepadanya. Namun, saat ini tentu bukan waktu yang tepat untuk mendeskripsikannya. Sungguh rasanya Latifa ingin pergi saja menghindari Harsa lebih dulu pada saat ini, jika tidak ingat akan membuat kegaduhan di rumah orang tuanya.
