All I knew was I was scared shitless of this beast in front of me. “Poor little Aria, a waste of space slut, good for nothing, I should’ve never kept you.” She spat vehemently, winding herself up further. “I thought about it all day and there’s no way you have amnesia; you’re still the same pathetic girl who can’t keep her legs closed. What a pity that you lied to me. I don’t know how you fooled the doctor and everyone else, but you can’t fool me little girl.” “I can’t remember fucking anything! You think this is some sick game I’m playing!” I yelled back after finding my inner strength.

The air was thick with anticipation, as if the walls themselves held countless untold stories. I approached the reception desk, where a young woman with piercing blue eyes and an enigmatic smile greeted me. Her name tag read "Lena." "Welcome to Memoria," she said, her voice soft yet confident. "How may I assist you today?" "I... I've heard that you can erase memories," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. "Is it true?" Lena nodded, her gaze unwavering. "Yes, it's true. Memoria specializes in memory alteration. We help individuals who seek to escape the pain of their past, to start anew."

Just as I was about to turn and leave, Elisa suddenly shouted, "Leno, you're finally awake!" He lay in Elisa's arms, confused as he looked at the people around him. He struggled to sit up and asked, "Who are you?" When he turned his head and saw me, his gaze lit up instantly. "Flora Hall!" Leno was then taken back to the hospital for further examination. "The excessive dosage of wolfsbane has damaged Alpha Leno's brain and nerves, causing temporary amnesia. His memory has regressed to 15 years ago," a healer said.

“I guess I should thank him for that.” Valencia looks at me like she doesn’t know what to think of me. “How…interesting.” She murmurs. “But you’re healed from the ordeal, aren’t you?” Is it wrong that I am enjoying this a little? “Kinda. I got a little amnesia now.” I chirp. “Amnesia?” She chokes. “Yeah. I forget Theon and Dr. Haeger when it rains because the bears screwed with my head with a magic room of doom. Oh, and I also see phantoms when I forget Theon. We call them my episodes.”

While her professor seemed to be busy extracting blood from her, Amara did something she does best. Ever since she had woken up, having forgotten everything, she made it her mission to look at everything else and understand just what was happening. Her life seemed like a blur. Silas and Eleanor had told her memories of her life, but she just doesn’t seem to remember it. Nor could she formulate mental images of it in her mind. That’s why every chance she gets, she looks at everything more than once. Observes everything as greatly as she could.

“Child, open your eyes for me, look around and tell me if you know anybody here.” I opened my eyes slowly and looked around the small room. I see three women, two of them were dressed in nun outfits, one looked older than the other. The third woman was dressed casually. There was also a little boy that seemed too interested in the toy he was holding. They were all strangers. “No, I don’t know anybody here.” I responded. The younger nun gasped in shock. “I feared this will happen.” the doctor said to the older nun. “I’m afraid she has developed amnesia.”

I asked her with a disdainful look even though I don't know if it's her presence that's making me have this weird feelings about her or it's because of how brutally injured I am. Her eyes went through every corners of my room and from the way she kept on looking I knew within myself that she was trying to reveal a truth that's meant for my ears alone. Leaning closer to my ears she spoke in a voice not quite audible, “Anna has silent amnesia and that simply means that you can have your way back to her heart.” “Silent…” I was about to scream out the name of her ailment when Mira shut me up with her hands fully covered on my lips, holding back the little breath I had in me.

After a tense few seconds, he finally released Adrian and sneered, "Your brother, huh? Then let me ask him something simple—what's her name?" "Rose," I blurted out before Adrian could speak. Raymond's face twisted with rage, like he might attack me any second. "I was asking him! Who told you to answer? You're playing the part well enough, so why don't you keep pretending to have amnesia? You know better than anyone that he doesn't even know you. He doesn't even know your name!" I looked him dead in the eye and asked flatly, "Are you out of your mind?"

I allowed my old self to enter as I opened my eyes and focused as she had asked. The room looked like a hologram or multiple streams of memories that were making their way back in my head. Some of the memories were a fraction because the only clear face I could see was Adam. I moved around looking at every emotion in the memories that were flashing before my eyes. I was beginning to remember my brother and the memories were not stopping. I looked at each flash one by one as the pieces were coming into place before I stopped and looked at the one that had triggered me. I walked closer as I focused on the memory once more.

Anna POV He turned the monitor slightly back toward himself. “She has amnesia.” I blinked. “What?” “She has significant memory loss.” My mouth fell open slightly. “Like…” I struggled to find the words. “Total amnesia?” “No.” He shook his head. “It’s not total amnesia.” I released a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. “Then what kind?” “It’s more consistent with retrograde amnesia.” I stared at him. He immediately seemed to realize that the medical terminology wasn’t helping.
