On our last day in Calor Del Cielo, Lyzza invited me to stroll around town, asking me about good places to buy stuff and souvenirs. Our flight was at 5 pm that night, so I agreed to make the most of our trip. I took her to Famoso Mercado—the most popular local market where they sell native food delicacies, unique souvenirs, and memorabilia. To my surprise, I hadn't been informed that Cedrick Miguel would be joining us when I saw him waiting for us in the hotel lobby. Feeling betrayed, I gave Lyzza an angry, accusing look.

Elaine looked worried while holding her cocktail glass. “Not always.” She bit her lip. Tiffie could sense that Elaine knew that she’s not telling the truth. Someone pushed Elaine away from the screen. This time, it’s their president of the club. The mighty and the richest of them all, Eriana Gopez. She’s the owner of the Las Casas de Amore. I looked away from him and took in the decoration of the tasting room. Crisp white linens,, delicate floral arrangements, lined of plates.. Thankfully, the pastry chef came in, breaking the silence and bringing in the first sample on a silver tray. “This one’s the vanilla chiffon with passion fruit curd and mascarpone frosting,” she said brightly, slicing it into two neat wedges.

I turn to Micheal and say "Help me explain this? Without freaking him out?" Micheal nods and says "Okay, well the first thing that you should know is that the Amore are basicly the same thing as a soulmate. They are paired together by the moon goddess herself. So rejecting your Amore is an insult to the goddess herself. Some people may still reject their Amore, but the way that we were raised we know that your amore is your other half, you will never feel whole on your own." He pauses and then adds "Do you understand so far?"

I’m not going to point out she’s focused on dessert rather than answering my question about her mom. We can loop back to that later. “Well, they are fantastic. They make great gelato. Not straight from Italy, but still good. They also have macaroons, waffles and crepes with gelato, and then hot drinks like hot chocolate, espresso, and tea.” I explained.

she asked. “No, I want to see what is mine and mine alone, my dear.” He said as he stood. “I do, however, not know your name currently either.” “Scarlett.” She said. “Well, my dear princess Scarlett.” He said as he moved to an out cove, “I would like to see these now.” He began to lower her dress down her shoulders. It’s truly amazing to be out like this, I have to say I have missed going out on dates. Rose is at a sleepover at her cousins so we stay out late. After dinner, we take a stroll through the city while laugh and talk about stuff by the time we get home it’s late but not quite tired. “I bought us something.” Liam says as soon as we enter inside our home. “You did?” He produces a bottle of champagne and a box of my favorite chocolates. “I think we should celebrate.” My heart swells. “What are we celebrating?” I ask. His eyes hold mine. “Let’s see being married to the most beautiful woman in the world.” He says and I laugh. He bends, and his lips take mine to softly kiss me, and my knees nearly

I accepted the drink without argument, asked if they could find any lamb and maybe some rosemary potatoes in the kitchen, and went back to my hunt for a good movie. The green drink was cool and delicious. I tasted a hefty amount of pear in it and smiled. Little by little Luis was finding ways of incorporating the foods that I loved the most while keeping things healthy. I’d just about completed the entire drink when I came across a row of DVDs labeled “Gertrude”.
