Marriage Of Convenience With My Ex

Marriage Of Convenience With My Ex

Ashley I don't know what's more shocking is the fact that my husband, the man who rejected me ten years ago, has his hand on my thighs or the red booklet on the dashboard. It was just a blink! Just a blink! Is that how easy it is to get married? No wonder the cause of most pain starts from marriage. They should be banned for future human sake. “Where are we going?” I decided to push aside all my thoughts and tried to question. Keep a calm and collected front. I reminded myself. Failing to remove his hand from my thighs was already getting under my skin.

the book is really nice, but Bailey is so immature and annoying, her actions in the last chapters just put me off so much, it’s like she makes me not want to read any further. Gray deserves way better.
JC..
I would love to read the (or a) chapter where Bailey first discovers that Grey is her mate. I don’t know if you intended to skip that part of the story or if it is a hiccup in the way chapters are loaded.

Our Marriage, Our Rules

Our Marriage, Our Rules

Good. “Well, now that is sorted,” Mr. Marshall says as he bends to pick up a black briefcase I didn't notice until now. He opens it and pulls out a brown folder. “This is the contract. It has rules that could work in both of your favors, and if you disagree, you can make amendments.” He hands one to me and one to the dickhead next to me. “Read through it carefully.” I flip the sheet open and read through the paper. It says here that we're to be married for one and a half years; we're to live together and be seen at events. I almost scoff at that.

My Wife and I: Married in Name, Never on Paper

My Wife and I: Married in Name, Never on Paper

I did my best to hold back the sorrow rising in my chest. It wasn't the first time anyway. I'd gotten used to it by now. Noticing my foul mood, Emma threw the cake into the trash. "If you can't eat it, I won't eat it either. By the way, Nathan…" She suddenly grabbed my arm. "I have some free time today. Why don't we go register our marriage?" I froze in place. In five years of marriage, this was the first time Emma had ever asked me to register our marriage.

I asked. " I want you to marry me as I really need to show that I am a happily married man. " He said casually. Was he crazy? How were these two things, related?? " What is the logic behind it?? How does your being married can affect the deal??" I was confused as hell. " My prospective partner or purchaser is an American and I met him and his wife last year when we met in the USA. " He started explaining. " I am not getting... so what is the problem? " I asked.

Choosing A Bride, Marriage Goes Wrongs

Charles said, babe, stop crying, I promise to help you, and If possible, I might retain you permanently but not on marriage level,” Charles said, “you can help me financially, but don't bother to retain me permanently, let's continued with our consensus adult until I will see who will love me and walk me down to the alter,” Celine said, “what do you mean?“ Charles said, “I want marriage, I want a good home and comfortable living, and I want me and my husband to raise our children In our home, and I want a happy family like my mom and my dad, like your mom and your dad,” Celine said, whole tears dripping down her eyes, “think about it, a woman without husband and children is empty, I want a h

The Woman Who Stayed

The Woman Who Stayed

I am finding her. A man wrote — which surprised her, and then did not surprise her, because the book was about a marriage and marriages contained two people and there was no reason the thinking it produced should be limited to one side of that. He wrote: I read your book because my wife asked me to. I want to tell you that I recognised myself in Emeka. Not in the infidelity — I have not been unfaithful to my wife. But in the deflection. The way a confrontation about something I did would become, through some mechanism I did not fully understand until your book named it, a conversation about something my wife did. I have been doing this for years. I did not know it was a choice. Your book sho

He spoke simply, without flowery words or talk of submission or possession. “Marriage,” he said, looking at us both, “is not about one person belonging to another. It is about two people choosing to walk the same road, respecting each other’s pace, sharing the burdens, and celebrating the joys. It is built on truth, not pretense; on respect, not control; and on the freedom to remain who you are, even as you become something more together.”

A Marriage with the Mafia Prince

A Marriage with the Mafia Prince

There is a faint tightening in his jaw when he says it, and I can't tell whether it is the idea of him being the father of my future child, or the fact that I've gotten married to him without ever having known anything about him besides his name and status. “I may be your husband now,” he says, his voice rigid, “but if I wasn’t already clear before, I do not want you. So don’t expect anything romantic from me. Do not expect any love, or loyalty. Do not expect a partner from me.” I keep my face still despite how each word stings. He is simply setting terms, as if outlining another clause from the contract. I should have expected this. He didn't want this marriage either... but there is no rea

Billionaire Heiress' Revenge Game

Billionaire Heiress' Revenge Game

Annoyed at how messy it looked, she muttered, "I'm not hungry." Elijah frowned, clearly displeased by her response. "Do you know the essence of marriage?" he asked. Marcia shook her head. "You've said it yourself—marriage is pointless. If someone's going to cheat, they'll cheat regardless!" Elijah was speechless for a moment. He flicked her forehead lightly and said, "Is that what you took away from my words last night?" Sliding his arm around her shoulders, he added with a subtle tone, "The essence of marriage is three meals a day and sharing a bed at night. Four things, no more, no less."
