Anatomy Of An Epidemic Novels & Stories

My sincere thanks to you for reading the short book, Epidemic. This is actually my first sci-fi and zombie type of story, but I hope I did well, and I'll surely work more on improving myself. I wrote this book in a day without even planning for it before (LOL). A colleague of mine asked for one of my works to be added to an anthology he is currently working on. He specified it must be sci-fi, I've never written any sci-fi book before, so I had to quickly put down something. It's kinda funny, I know.

They informed them about their uneasiness and the fact they can't seem to pinpoint the source of uneasiness aside from the fact that it has something to do with serum. Their uneasiness became a nightmare a few weeks after the murder happened. The nightmare of the previous epidemic has resurfaced! It happened little by little that it was too late by the time that they discovered the epidemic. The scientists and doctors have been hit on their blind side since no one knows that the epidemic that has been cured will strike again but now with a stronger variant.

He replied with a small but uncertain smile. "Alright," I nodded and grabbed my car keys from the table. "Let's go to the hospital. I need to see things for myself." He nodded and went with me but made sure that we were wearing masks and gloves. When we got there, I realized that the situation was much worse than I thought. The pack doctor came to me to tell that over 200 Lycans had lost their lives already. He said that the epidemic was getting more aggressive and most people were having only symptoms for a few minutes before their deaths.

Even though the drugs developed by Strix can control its side effects, Marina's condition only developed when it was already a year after the epidemic…” Larissa suddenly stopped. “Aunt, what’s the matter with you?” Maisie suddenly became worried when she noticed that Larissa’s face gradually turned pale. Larissa looked at her. “The incubation period of the virus is one year, which means that your mother was already infected the year the epidemic started. That’s not impossible.” Maisie was slightly puzzled. “Why would you say that?” Larissa explained to her, “The epidemic from 30

As Eric approached, his expression was grim. "Layla, we've identified a pattern. The illness seems to be spreading along the water sources – the river and the nearby streams." My heart sank at the revelation. "If the water sources are contaminated, then this epidemic could affect even more people." Eric nodded, his voice heavy. "It's a possibility we can't ignore. We need to find the source of the contamination and put a stop to it before it's too late."

The only exemption was our city, where the president lived. Thousands of people died when it spread as a pandemic, causing the global economy to go upside down. This epidemic started in Sama Island, where tourism spiked high. And because these tourists came from different countries across the globe, they were also the reason why the disease had spread widely to almost all parts of the world.
