One more sigh and I was moving towards the bar, ordering another round of shots for myself. One for every syllable of that horrendous name.

I gave him a reassuring smile and turned around to leave. I walked to the front door with Lorenz following close behind me, he grabbed me by my forearm and dragged me outside to his car. Opening the backseat door, he shoved me inside before getting in after me and opened a newspaper to read while we waited for the traitor Arthur and evil Shane to join us.

I could see the look of annoyance etched in the ladys face. "Don't you dare call me that. We both know you're enjoying all the drama, Diane. I make it extra entertaining just for you," she said with a sarcastic tone. "Enjoy being with my Dad while you can, just know that when karma comes knocking, it's gonna hurt like a mother fucking bitch."

Besides, I didn't want to come here and bask in loneliness every night. Now, Kara is here. She makes the atmosphere less lonely. " Yeah. How was your day, Angel?" I walk towards the kitchen, taking off my coat and leaving it on the backrest of the couch. " It was great." She replies. I halt and turn around to face her. " You're not bored here?" Kara almost crashes into me from the sudden halt and we both stare at each other. Her face is so close, the freckles on her nose visible, her lips pouty and pink.

Zane had to smile at her. “Angel, there is nothing bad in you.” “Of course there is. Do you think I would be okay with what you did tonight if I was all good and pure? Do you think I would enjoy the things we do if I didn’t have a streak of bad in me?” she asked. She had a smile on her face which told Zane she enjoyed the idea of being a little bad.

Fear creeps its way into Soralina as she whimpers lightly, watching the killer of her brother stalk towards her before placing a finger under her chin and lifting her head up. "Hmm. Pretty. Really very pretty. But you see, that's the problem." Angela says with a mock pout as she lets go of a trembling Soralina, her eyes brows pulled down in fake worry. "I don't like anything that is prettier than me." What the fuck is this psychopath saying?

ANGELA'S POV :- The girl looked at me with her narrowed eyes. I bet she was thinking of killing me just then, as her dream of seducing my husband was badly broken by me. She finally turned away and left with her friends. Thank God! I didn't like her even a bit! But why Angela? Why do you care if she flirts with Noah or even seduces him? You don't love him, right? Or do you? I was battling with my own thoughts when I felt like someone called my name.

And I should've been more understanding. Now, I know what I need to do. I need to make everything okay and ask for Angel's forgiveness.
