Chapter 18 "What?! Are you serious, Blake? She's here to kill you?" Veronica exclaimed after Blake told her about what he heard the other day and when she started speaking. "I'm serious, she's an angel, and her mission is to kill me..." he repeated. Veronica sighed, knowing that Blake was a vampire means it was not possible that the girl she thought was something special was actually an angel. She thought she might be like Blake or other creatures like a werewolf, after watching the CCTV footage but to find out she was an "ANGEL," she was surprised.

AVA I covered my ears, rolling my eyes irritably as I sat with my friend Amy in the school cafeteria. Amy nudged my arm with her elbow and whispered, her eyes still fixed on that famous playboy quarterback of our school, Wolf Academy. "Hey girl, look who just arrived. It's Hunter Ysrael from the Cruelcrest Hounds Pack!" I felt Amy's fingers trace my chin and force my face toward his direction. "Uh-huh. Phenomenal." I said sarcastically before removing her fingers that were gripping my chin. Amy tsked at my reaction but her eyes were still glued to him, watching him from the distance with dreamy, heart-filled eyes.

"What could that be? Amelia asked shivering. "The question is who could that be " Eric replied quiet unmoved by the gun shots. "It could be Derek, Samantos, Anna or anybody ". He took the fork and knife. He held the full chicken on one of the trays with the fork and cut it with the knife. He picked it with the knife into his mouth savoring every taste. "God please forgive me, holy Mart take control. Angel Micheal, son of God. I mean Angel Gabriel, the son of God, oh my fucking God, someone should just take control ". She was breathing heavily as she said the prayers.

She began gathering clothes as the Angel towered over Xavier, sniffing him. “Stop!” She screamed causing Xavier to look confused. “I’m not doing anything.” He protested. “Just get out so I can get dressed.” Xavier held his hands up while walking out of the room. She sighed looking deadly at the Angel. “Who are you?” She asked in a much lower tone. “I’m Gabriel, God’s warrior, one of the many carriers of souls.” “Well Gabriel, whatever,” His eyebrows rose at her clear disrespect. “I have a job to do so just go away and let me focus.”

“What about Victor?” I glanced down at the miserable man in the pit, saying, “Him? He’s finished. There’s no such person in the Medici family anymore.” Vincenzo’s voice turned sharp. “Don’t underestimate him. I suggest you put a bullet in him.” I paused for a moment before slowly raising the gun again, aiming at Victor. “As you wish,” I replied softly. With a bang, the gunshot rang out, startling a flock of crows from the trees.
