Angels Fallen Novels & Stories

“It’s a fallen angel, like you said. It represents the fall Damian and I took on the day our mother tried to kill us.” My brows snapped together. “Fall? You saved your brothers. How’s that falling?” His expression was dark and twisted, his eyes far away, haunted, angry. “Until that day Damian and I were innocent. After that we weren’t. We’d already experienced our fair share of violence from our father, but it never affected us like that day did. The flames of that day they singed our wings and our fall into darkness began. We became who we are today. That’s why the fallen angel is kneeling in pools of blood.”

Those wings looked scary, at least in Reiji's eyes, not that he would voice it out loud. "Fallen Angels are Angels that have fallen from the grace of God due to having "impure thoughts" that divert them from the teachings of the God in the Bible. The leaders of Grigori were tempted by human women and had fallen after having sex with them. And despite being cast out of Heaven, Fallen Angels can still use the power of light." - Akeno explained seriously to the men, they just paid attention. They were shocked, they didn't know about that except for Reiji because of family circumstances.

“Our Alpha has a mate, a Fallen Angel which he is able to keep finding in each new life, new shape she takes. One time when she was killed, she was able to rally the others of her kind. A lower sect of angels called The Watchers.” I was leaning forward, rapt. Certain that somehow this is how it all pertained to me. “Okay…?” “They descended from the sky in series of falling stars.” He sighed. Thunking the bit of wood to the side table and rising to pace before the bed. “We tried to track them but there were so many, and they were falling so fast…” I gave him a patient look. “We tracked the ones we could and tried to protect them.” “What exactly are they.”

It's a typical urban fairy tell but there is more truth around us about angel-lost and fallen and only very few of them can find their way back. Uriel who was next to him smiled painfully and added, “Brother, this isn’t the end of a war, but the beginning of one.” Many angels fell that day. More than a fifth of the Heavenly Hosts lost their place that day. The planet they fell onto was called earth. But they didn’t fall in their heavenly form. Most however, weren’t that fortunate and morphed to become creatures of myth and legends.

And suddenly…I knew exactly how I wanted to spend it. Me: I'm off today. Three dots appeared almost immediately. Angel: Come see me. I smiled. Me: Now? Is the Den even open this early? Angel: It opens when I say it does. A laugh escaped me. Arrogant bastard. Me: I'll be there soon. Angel: I'll be waiting, kitten. My stomach fluttered. The Angel's Den felt completely different during the day. Mostly because it was empty. No music. No masked strangers. No bartenders.
