The Fallen One

Jaz POV

The Moon Valley Pack is located a few miles from the Pacific Ocean and between two large mountains that separate us from the rest of the world. When you sit on the cliff that is not too far from the pack. You can see the Ocean and then you can look up and see the moon. I came across the cliff when I was 17 while on my nightly run at 11. Ever since Alpha Jax, Bata James, and Sam found me they brought me back to the pack. They gave me 2 weeks to heal and pass every test that the doctors gave to me. Then they began training me to be the best of the best. Fist they wanted to learn everything about me. From where I came from, what happened to me and of course I could tell them anything because I couldn’t remember anything.

The doctor said I had amnesia which is total memory loss. I just couldn’t. They couldn’t explain it either, they ran every test possible. Even going as far as searching for a witch to help and that did help either. So, we all agreed that it was best to just start my new life. They started me off with online schooling, hand to hand combat, weapons training, hacking, learning about tactical and strangest skills, and blades and bows. They raised me from 16 to now 27 years old and I see them as my family. They have helped me become the best of the best. They noticed I showed interest in singing, dancing, interments, painting, swimming, cooking, and how well I could deal with all the tasks they gave to me, and I never cracked under the pressure of the stress I always remained calm, cool, and collected. They always give me schedule to follow to the “T.”

This morning, I woke up at 3:30 am to get ready for the day. I always start off with my morning routine and then get dressed for training for the day. I always wear black sports bra and a black tank tops and black yoga pants. I also had 5 lbs. weights to my legs to walk around in to ensure my training is never ending. I put my hair up in a high ponytail. I have midnight black hair, and the tips of my hair are silver.

When I was 17 my hair slowly started to change the tips from black to silver. I thought it was cool. I told Alpha Jax and the rest of them; they did as much research as possible to see why and they never produced anything.

I walked down the hall to the dinner room where everyone eats. I’m so deep in thought that someone bumps into me. “Sorry about that I wasn’t looking where I was going” the next thing I know. I’m slapped across the face and all my training kicks in and grab their hand and bring it around to behind the guys and bring him to his knees and growl “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME!!” “JAZ!!” I look up to Alpha Jax, looking serious. “Alpha? He just slapped me after I apologized to him” “Jaz, you need to unhand Alpha Nick. He is an ally and ill discuss that with him shortly but first unhand him.” I look down and he is impressed with me and smirks up at me. I help up and I go to walk away “what not apologize for attacking me??” I stop dead in my tracks, and I turn to look at him and he is looking at me with amusement and before I can say anything.

“Alpha Nick you attacked her first and you should be lucking I stopped her from hurting you anymore then she already did so please come enjoy breakfast with us.” “I think I’ll be having it with this beautiful she-wolf up in my room.” “Alpha, I insist I use rule 12? What do you think?” I look over at him and smile evilly “Jaz, I believe you’re in the position to do so... We will meet you outside. Alpha Nick, you should recall the treaty you signed this morning with your bata stating that if you provoke Jazmine, she has all rights to discipline you. Do you recall what you signed?” Alpha Nick looks over at Alpha Jax looking perplexed and trying to recall what rule 12 was.

“what’s rule 12?” I look him straight in the eyes “rule 12 is you have to run 100 miles, and train with me the rest of the day, and if you can’t complete that then I can beat the shit out of you for requesting me to join you in your room.” “What if I complete it?” I start laughing and so does everyone else but him. I wipe my face from my tears and smile at him “Oh you think YOU can complete MY training?” Jax and I look at one another and I nod my head. Jax looks at Nick “I bet you, you can’t. Even I can’t and everyone here can’t. So do you want to bet?” Nick looks at me in my eyes.

“Yes, I do want to bet.” “OKEYY, don’t say I didn’t warn you,” I tell him and smile evilly at him. ‘If only he knows the shit he got himself into’ Fate laughs ‘I agree with you there’ shaking my head. I stand straight and look him dead in the eyes with the most serious expression on my face I can must without laughing “Alpha Nick, I formally stand here in front of the whole pack house to invoke rule 12, I will meet you out in the training field in 45 mins if you fail to be there by then you Will be invoking rule 30 and 1, 3, AND 13. Do you understand?”

“I understand these rules. However, if I complete your training, I Order you to be in my room tonight to spend the night with me,” “I cannot follow your order Alpha Nick” “WHY is that?” “Because she is not a part of YOUR pack Alpha Nick,” says Jax while walking over to us “Well then you order her!” “I will not but I'll allow her to make that decision on her own. I’ve been raising Jaz since she was 16 years old, and she is the BEST OF THE BEST. She has completed 157...” “170” Jax quickly looks at me and I shyly smile and shrug my shoulders “I’ve completed 170 top secret missions that they’ve posted” “WHEN?!?” Everyone looks at me in shock. I rub the back of my neck. I tried to cough and say yesterday at the same time. “JAZ!!” “Yes?” I look at him with an innocent smile. “I’m supposed to sign off on all those missions.” “Oh, you did” “When?”

“Ummm… Bata James, when did he sign the latest mission?” I ask while stepping back to look at the very shocked James. “Um… It was 3 days ago. You came back yesterday so that says about right.” “Ya, it was about 3 days ago that you signed the mission form.” Jax’s looks at James impressed him he forgot the last mission form. “Well, Jaz you racking up those missions pretty fast you going to ever slow down??” “Well, if y’all are down I’m hungry...” I look at my military grade watch “It’s been 30 minutes, and I need to get this training going if I'll be back in time for the ball plans that the Luna Quinn requires me to be present for. So now we have 15 minutes to eat and be out to the training field so… see you there” I quickly walk away to grab my normal oatmeal and strawberry, bananas meal with apple juice. I walk to the table where all the high-ranked members are, and I start to eat and get done in under 8 minutes and take my trash and bowl where they need to go and place them in the sink. As I’m walking to the training facility, I’m stretching my arms and legs to make sure I don’t hurt myself. I checked the time and there are 5 minutes left to wait. “I’m here! I’m here!” “Ok so this is how we are going to start with 100 miles then we will go over there…” I point to the indoor gym I had built just for me. “Why over there?” “Because THAT is my gym. “I point to the outdoor gym area “That is where everyone goes, and I can’t use that because If I touch it will break. I had to get special equipment made just for me and with all the missions I go on I use some of the money to build my own house though I don’t use it.” I shrugged and continued to stretch my legs “are you going to stretch?” I look over at him staring at my ass “because if not you’re NOT going to make it after mile 10” I look at my watch and there are 2 mins left “better start stretching you have 2 mins left before I start, and you are going to be with me ALL day. Also, if you had sex last night you better just let me know now because you failed already… so do I need to beat your ass?” I look at him with my eyebrow raised “No I did not have sex last night. Why does that even matter?” “Because sex drains you with this train I created.” “Well let’s get this going...” I say while starting my watch. I don’t tell him, and I start jogging to make sure he can keep up.

25 miles…

This guy is slowing me down…. And he’s already cursing at me saying I need to slow down, and I haven’t even started sweating. WOW, and he’s an Alpha. “So, alpha do you want to walk back, and I can beat your ass then or now?” I ask while looking over my shoulder “I underestimated you… I was thinking you were an omega that was trying to get my attention and now I see I was wrong... can I owe you a favor and you don’t beat my ass??” he says while to breath and jog at the same time “I still need to at least punch you a couple of times to make it look like I beat your ass because if I don’t ill be going back on my word and I NEVER go back on my word. So what is going to be?” he stops and I start jogging in place to let him catch him breath…” ill let you beat my ass the real way..” Before I let him change his mind, I ran full steed and knee him right in his face and straddled him and through multiple punches to his abbs and face. He’s black and blue and bleeding all over by the time I’m done. “you’ll live let’s get you to the hospital.” I threw him over my shoulder and casually walked to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital, they already had a gunny waiting for me with 2 people waiting for me playing on their phones. “Make sure he’s get patched up for tonight,” I say while placing him on the gurney “Yes Jaz, also Alpha needs you in his office asap...” “Thanks,” I say over my shoulder and head to Alpha Jax’s office.

When got to Alpha Jax's office I knocked and waited for his “come in” I entered not expecting anything from him.

“Oh, Jaz just the person I was wanting to see.”

He says while looking at his desk.

“Yes sir? You requested me to come to your office. How can I help you?”

“Have a seat there are some people on the Mating ball List I need to see if they might come from then coming here.” I stroll over and sit down; he hands me the guest list I'm reading the list and only one name pops up to me.

“Sir the only name that pops up to me is Alpha Asher Steele”

“Oh? Would he be a problem to us as a pack or you?” he raises his eyebrow at me.

I blush “Sir he's my mate”

“Oh have y'all met yet?”

“No sir, you know how I am I can explain certain things to you because I just don't know”

“Well I can put him in your house or in the pack house on our floor either way I'm ok with either”

Hmm I don't want him to snoop and go through my things but since I've learned to turn off my scent I could put him in my house

“Let's put him and his pack in my house it shows that he's going to have his B**e and and girl with him. So just let me know about the girl and I'll get the house prepared for my guest”

Jax chuckles

“Very well I'll let you know just give me a sec”

He types on his computer and stares at his computer screen. While he's doing that I get my phone out to see if there are any more missions for me to do after the ball is over. And of course, there's nothing to do so I mind-link Luna Quinn

‘Luna Quinn I'll be there in a few minutes Alpha needed me for a second.’

I hear her chuckle through the link

‘My dear you need to either call me Mom or Quinn, not Luna I've raised to so please give me that honor’

‘Mom it's weird saying that when I'm is the office with Dad. I swear don't ever tell him I called him that I think it would boost his ego’

‘My dear we've tried to get you to call us that for years now so please let's hope it sticks’

‘I love you Mom and yes I'll be there in just a minute’

‘Ok dear’

She closes the link and I look at Alpha and his eyes are clouded over. Dear goddess, she told him… ugh… I close my eyes waiting for whatever to happen. The next thing I knew I brought out of my chair in a huge hug

“My dear daughter you have just made me the happiest man alive for finally calling me dad”

I wrap them in a tight hug but gently knowing my strength is stronger than his.

“Dad, can you tell me about the girl?”

“Oh sorry, let me check”

He looks back at the screen

“It says to her that that girl is his biological sister”

Hmm I wonder if she has a dress

“Does it say her dress size out of curiosity?”

“Yes size… 13”

He looks at me with a knowing smile

“I'm going to get my favorite seamstress on it”

He shakes his head and laughs

“I figured you would say that”
