Angela’s POV I was on my way home when I saw an old lady selling some key chains. I walked towards her and looked at those key chains laid on an open box. “Come and buy some key chains now, young lady..” said the old lady. I smiled at her and browsed at the set of keychains again when I saw two keychains of a boy and a girl. The girl is smiling while the boy is crossing his arms and looks pissed. I suddenly remembered Lucifer. He looks exactly like this keychain. I chuckled. “Are you planning to give it to your boyfriend?” asked the old lady.

Itsuki said, which made Marcus frown in confusion. “Angel with devil horns? Why?” he asked. “The girls in our troops are called Angels. But since she’s the coldest and ruthless among them, they called her Angel with devil horns.” Mariko rolled her eyes as she put the weapons they had used earlier from the training back on its shelves.

When she pressed a switch on the wall, soft light filled the space as my eyes widened. The underground room was covered in ancient drawings. Walls filled with creatures — humans, werewolves, vampires, witches, dragons, mermaids, faries and something else I didn’t recognize. One caught my eye — tall, radiant figures with wings spread wide like light. “Angels,” I whispered. Eleanor smiled faintly. “And their kin.”
