Dolly had been too excited to sleep on the plane. Angela only needed to tell her one story before she drifted off. Leon had asked her to meet him in the tea room—he would definitely bring up the proposal he made last time. Angela had already decided how she would answer him. Before leaving the room, she placed Dolly’s watch and phone on the bedside table and left a small night lamp on. The tea room was not easy to find. Angela only managed to locate it with a server’s guidance. It was a small room, furnished with walnut-toned tables and chairs, accented by several potted green plants.

I reply excitedly. "That's funny, it's Levi's favorite too." he grins, before turning around and beginning to pull things out to prepare everything. "You can sit wherever you like." he states, without looking back. I slide onto one of the bar stools before continuing to make conversation. Salem was so kind, it made talking to him both easy and comfortable. "Do all angels have this beautiful of a home?" I ask curiously.

I opened the card, and tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I read Angel's heartfelt words: "Tonight, I want to show you how much you mean to me. You light up my world, Thea. Forever yours, Angel." I looked up at him, my eyes shining with emotion. "You're going to ruin your makeup," Angel reminded me, his smile gentle. I laughed, blinking back tears, as he led me further into the rooftop oasis. "I can't believe you rented the entire place," I exclaimed, taking in the expansive space. The décor was breathtaking, worthy of a five-star hotel rooftop dining experience.

Ran'er escorted Asher to the room on the 10th floor, where The Angel bar was located. "Is Tuan a new customer here? I haven't seen you before." Ran'er asked kindly as they walked together to the room Ran'er had indicated. "Hm.." replied Asher still with his deheman. "Master is really a cold and different man. The average man visits this lust-fulfilling apartment with a passionate face and a wild look. But you have a cold face as if you are thinking about something. Is something bothering you, sir?" asked Ran'er with a sweet smile, but Asher still ignored her.

I chewed my lips anxiously, cautious to not draw any blood. A friendly looking waiter's eyes met mine as I flashed him a weak smile, not moving from my position. Angel's was a trendy, affordable place with a live band every day at this hour and an open patio for people who wished to dance or dine outside. The place was dim with only fairy lights yet not dark enough that I could not be seen by Logan. At a table to the far right, I saw Cath and my friends seated, their giggles and murmurs mingling with the melliflous songs played and sung by a handsome boy band on the stage right next to their table.

"Hello, Ms. Floyd. This is Evelyn. Can we meet up?" Naturally, Angel would not refuse. "Sure." They agreed to meet at a cafe in the World Trade Center. It was just a stone's throw away from Angel's apartment. Angel didn't have a car, so she took a taxi to the cafe. During the peak hour, it was not easy to get a taxi. She waited for a long time on the roadside before she got into a taxi. When Angel reached the place, Evelyn was already there. She was slightly stunned when she saw Angel's clothing. "Angel doesn't look good. What's going on?" She was baffled, but she still smiled at the former. "Ms. Floyd, good to see you. What do you want to drink?"

As the maid closed the door gently shut, Angelica bent forward, her slender and flawless fingers held the teapot and poured tea on both ceramic cups. “Have a drink.” She spoke after placing the ceramic teapot down. “Thank you.” Crystal mumbled and gingerly took a ceramic cup, lifting it up to her lips as she took a small whiff of the hot liquid. From what she can assume, it’s jasmine tea with a mix of red berries. The scent alone is enough to give a calming ambience in the room.
