Turning its head, it looked at Amanah and puffed air through its nose. Amanah's breath hitched when she looked into its eyes. The icy grey eyes followed her movements. She giggled and touched its face. "You're so beautiful," she cooed as she petted the wolf. "Wait here," she got up and ran into the house. They watched her as she disappeared behind the stairs and waited patiently for her.

My wolf was upset. While Carson and I had been kissing on the couch, Eckley had been trying to talk to her. She was saying, 'See this is what talking to the Luna did! Eckley can sense me now! He is trying to talk to me. He is whispering to me, 'Love mate. Protect mate.' Ugh! Gross!'
