“It’s been worse lately, especially with the cold weather. We’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to help.”
Elara’s brow furrowed in concern, her heart going out to them. “I’ve been studying some new herbs that might help,” she offered, reaching into her basket and pulling out a small pouch of dried leaves. “This is willow bark. It’s known for its pain-relieving properties, especially for joint and muscle pain. You can brew it into a tea or use it in a poultice.”
The women looked at the pouch with interest, their eyes lighting up with hope. “That’s very kind of you, Elara,” one of them said, her voice filled with gratitude. “We’ll give it a try.”
