Little Ruby Red

Little Ruby Red

“There are gaps in our past for a reason, Mr. Grant. That was to try to erase all memory of Paiminium with each passing generation. It’s true, most of the wolves of the south hold little value for human life and that is why we can’t allow them sanctuary up here in the north unless they submit to our ways. Giving them land here will give them access to the Paiminium and that’s just not a risk we should take lightly. All the answers to your questions, all the truth you seek, are all located in the Archives of the Colorado pack.” Mine and Dad’s ears pricked up at hearing this news. “Our pack archives are where I also spend most of my time,” Aaron cut in, smugly. “Although ours only mentions the

Awesome ... Loves this first love story of Caleb & Ruby even though the ending should be more exciting and also hints of a second book of their story and the kids. Hopefully the second book will be out soon.

This is easily one of my favorite books. It checks all my boxes. It's sweet, serious, and fun all at the same time much like the way real life could be. I can see a second book with these characters.

the administrator said. Its mass of screens and pages descended a little, looming closer until one of its loading‑wheel eyes filled my vision. I couldn’t move my hands. The pen dangled between my fingers, just out of line with anything I could write on. The pain in my arms intensified, the rules I’d already carved into myself flaring like reopened wounds. “YOU ARE DETONATING MY ARCHIVE,” it said, voice low and almost conversational now. “FOR WHAT?” It didn’t wait for an answer.

Breen said: "It belongs there." Seren said: "I want to add something from the theoretical foundation. The part about the organism and the immune system." Breen said: "Which part?" Seren said: "Where you say the archive is the pack's immune response to corruption. I want to add: and the function is the pack's continuous renewal. Not immune response — active renewal. The practice that keeps the pack recognizing itself." Breen was very still. She said: "That changes the relationship between the archive and the function in the formal documentation."

VELVET CONTROL

VELVET CONTROL

When he left, I just tossed it in my bag, but I never get the chance to return it to him. Now those words wouldn’t leave me. I sat at the desk and opened Shawn’s MacBook. He had given me the password weeks ago — another gesture of trust after the main ledger. My fingers moved almost without permission, searching through folders until I reached one labeled “Private Archives.” Most files matched what I had already seen. But one didn’t. It was saved simply under the name SEXY. My pulse spiked. I clicked it open.

MY STEPBROTHER ALPHA'S DIRTY OBSESSION

MY STEPBROTHER ALPHA'S DIRTY OBSESSION

Maya’s POV The archive smells like time. That's the only way to describe it. Not dust exactly. Not decay. Something older and more specific than both. The particular smell of paper that has absorbed decades of breath and lamp oil and the slow certainty of things written down because someone believed they mattered enough to preserve. I've been down here since before sunrise. The pack archive sits two levels below the main library. Most wolves don't know it exists. The ones who do treat it the way wolves treat sacred ground. Carefully. Quietly. With the particular reverence reserved for things that can't be replaced.

She reached toward it and then stopped herself. Some things she could learn later. When she was less raw. Meanwhile, back at the Wolfe Pack archive room, the file was forty years old, and it should not have existed. Wolfe Pack records went back eighty years. Most of it was routine: territory maps, bloodline registries, pack census data. Adrian had been through the archive twice in five years of Alphahood and found nothing worth noting. He was in it now at two in the morning because Cole had said, ‘I don't know what made those tracks,’ and Adrian had not slept, and thinking felt better than not thinking.

“wolfborn myth” “signs you’re cursed (but like, medically)” I chewed on the end of my pen. “Okay,” I muttered. “Let’s list our options.” On a clean page, I wrote: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ARIA (working theories) Regular Burnout + Forest Vibes – Pros: realistic, boring – Cons: does not explain SHADOW or PULL or ROWAN’S EYES Ghosts – Pros: classic, on brand for creepy houses near woods

I kept wanting to see if a glitch could actually outrun the pen. Suddenly, the mundane room began to shake. The coffee in the mugs rippled. The cat on the fence outside turned into a black silhouette and vanished. "What's happening?" I demanded. "The Archive is a closed loop," the Reader said, their face turning pale. "By bringing you here, into the 'Outer Room,' I’ve broken the barrier. The system is trying to reclaim its data. It doesn't care if this room is 'real' or not. To the Archive, anything that contains Maya and Kael is a partition that needs to be formatted."

AFTER MY DIVORCE, SIX BILLIONAIRES CLAIM ME

AFTER MY DIVORCE, SIX BILLIONAIRES CLAIM ME

A file rested open on the archive table. Executive Expansion Initiative. Year One. Helena knew the contents. She had reviewed them dozens of times. Yet something felt different. Not the file. Her certainty. The distinction mattered. She turned another page. Then another. The documents remained present. Complete. Intact. Nothing appeared missing. Yet every reference chain leading back to them felt weaker. Less important. Less immediate. As though significance itself had been redistributed. A notification appeared above the archive table. HISTORICAL PRIORITY RECALIBRATION ACTIVE.

, I spoke into our link again; this time, Axel could hear us too, and he beamed. “That’s my girl; I knew you would work out a way to sort this shit out.” “Now I got to learn to keep it that way” I smiled, but a quiet determination had settled inside me. Alune will only have access when I say from now on and only when it suits me. Archer’s POV Running through the pack house towards the door that led to the archives with my heartbeat pounding in my ears was terrifying. That goddess awful screeching started up again, but this time it was so much louder, which only meant it was closer.
