Will You Marry Me, Again?

Will You Marry Me, Again?

Maia was quietly taking in the view of the paintings on the wall. “Here’s Mr. Spencer, Ms. Maia.” She saw the artist in question about five minutes later. “Greetings,” she said. “So you're Spencer.” “That’s me.” Spencer signed. He was immediately worried that she couldn’t understand him and moved to take out a piece of paper and a pen. Maia saw it and signed with a smile, “I can understand you. My younger brother’s deaf and mute as well.” He nodded in understanding. “I see. How can I help you, Ms. Maia? Mr. Buck told me that you own my last work, the ‘Contemplating Lady,’ which I made before I graduated from the school.”

The Alpha's Reclamation

The Alpha's Reclamation

Their very presence appeared to ignite a flame of optimism in those they encountered, motivating others to take action. They met a teenage artist called Sofia in one neighborhood, whose vivid canvases graced the walls of the community hall. Her artwork captured the essence of the human spirit by depicting stories of perseverance and unity. Sofia's creativity was acknowledged by Luna and Phillip, who understood the transformational potential of art to elicit emotions and promote change. They worked with her to organize seminars and activities that allowed local youngsters to express themselves creatively.

Sinful Seduction

Sinful Seduction

Our Anna McCarthy art tour had began. I stopped by a painting, a human in shackles but also with two heads, one looked like it was having fun and the other like it was miserable and would give up anything to stop suffering. I had no idea how long I stood there, watching the painting as though it could speak. It was thrill enthralling. “The battle of the mind.” Someone said, jolting me from my thoughts. I looked beside me to see Amber looking at the same painting. “I understand why you stopped for this, it really one of the heart grounding paintings here.” She said and I couldn’t agree more.

I Saw You

I Saw You

How can I save them now that I am disabled? “I-I think I saw him but I couldn’t remember when and where,” Amara softly said. Him? The wind blew again and brought a sweet scent in my nostrils. Sweet as flower as though boquet of flowers were brought next to my nose. It was a fragrance of familiarity. Grip... “Aha! He’s the guy in Serra’s artwork!” Amara proclaimed. “Grey Preston!” she added. “Grip!” I yelled and when I opened my eyes he locked his with mine.

Bullied Wife In A Contract Marriage

Bullied Wife In A Contract Marriage

~ Amara ~ The shards of my "Honey Light" painting still lay on the floor of the studio. They looked like jagged blue teeth. I sat in the corner, staring at the wreckage of the only thing I had left that felt honest. My hands were stained with gray ash and Prussian blue oil. The room smelled like turpentine and the heavy, floral ghost of Chloe’s perfume. I wanted to move, but my legs felt like lead. Then, the phone vibrated on the hardwood floor. The sound was a dull, rhythmic thud that made my heart jump. I reached for it, thinking it was Noah. I thought he was calling to tell me he was back at the warehouse.

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

Because people created new ones every day. Ama continued walking. The river shimmered beside the path. Sunlight danced across the water. A cool breeze carried the scent of autumn leaves. And for the first time in a very long while, she felt completely present. Not divided between memory and mystery. Not caught between past and future. Simply here. Simply now. Her phone buzzed. A message from Gabriel. Arthur accidentally signed up for a marathon. Ama stopped walking. Then immediately replied. Accidentally? The response came seconds later.

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

This kiss carried weight, a vow unspoken. When they broke apart, Allistair grinned happily. “So do you want to see it now?” “Yes baby, where is it?” Samael exclaimed, clearly excited. Allistair stood up and waved his hand and the square designed fountain parted and revealed all his paintings that he recently made and on the centeris the exact replica of the painting he burned. The one called “Aeternum”. The painting made by the greatest painter of all time, his favorite painter Vianna Resilda Del Fierro, Samael’s mother.

In His Shadow, in His Bed

In His Shadow, in His Bed

My security detail trailed at a discreet distance. As I walked, I passed the small, exclusive art gallery where I had once dreamed of having my own exhibition, a lifetime ago when I was just Amelia Evans, a scholarship student with paint under her fingernails and stars in her eyes. I stopped dead. There, in the window, displayed prominently with a tasteful spotlight, was a painting. It was a stormy seascape, all turbulent greys and slashes of angry blue, but in the center, a single, stubborn shaft of gold light broke through the clouds, illuminating a lone, resilient flower growing from a crack in a cliff face.

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

Scared it was Dana. Hymar reads the room. He leans back and exhales. “Okay. I’ll keep this short. I’m starting something here in Washington. I wanted to ask if you’d consider being one of my investors.” He leans forward, excitement lighting his face. “The idea came straight from what you did. You turned a silly skit into a brand, lifted a lot of people. I want to do the same—but with art. Paintings. Real ones, by real artists. We turn them into short-form content, skits, stories, animations built around the canvas. But here’s the lift: I’m only using work from lesser-known painters. Give them exposure the way you gave exposure to your friends in that video.”

A Love Forged In Ruins

A Love Forged In Ruins

The name hit me like a stone to the chest. She’d applied during our first-ever round of The Amara Initiative. The girl with fire in her eyes and chaos in her sketches. Her designs were unconventional. Brave. Rough around the edges, but undeniably full of potential. I clicked her file. Her application was raw—more emotion than structure. But it had gripped me back then. She’d written about growing up in shelters, stitching pillowcases into dresses because she had nothing else to wear. She talked about using art to cope with trauma.

Yessss, love the drama in this book, I'm still reading and can't get enough of it! The family dynamic is dramatic and aggravating and that’s what makes this sooooo good. I don't think there's anyone more shameless than Layla’s mom. That woman annoys me!!!
Scarlett Rain
At first, I thought it was a typical revenge story, but the more I read, the more I grasped the complexity of the characters that were well described. It makes me more curious about Layla, a woman who is trying to figure out the scheme she finds herself in, and Damien, a man clouded in mysteries.
