I rest my ankle over my knee and settle my elbow on the armrest. “For one, the grass and trees were scorched. It looked like someone dropped a bomb in the middle of it, but there are no bomb particles or any evidence of bomb residue. Yet, the ground and the burnt remains were covered in blood.”
Fallon’s clear eyes narrow thoughtfully. “Wait, aren’t those signs of the apocalypse?”
I nod. “It seems to be. However, as I explained to Mathias and Azazel, I did not order an apocalypse. I wouldn’t do that, considering you and Lana are here. Let me also state that I have no desire to start an apocalypse.”
