Novel & Cerita Apollo Short Story Summary

The kind, gentle, and caring Apollo was no longer there but a vengeful beast. Apollo locked me up in a cave for weeks without any food with only a sip of water. Every time he'd come back, he'd pull a single nail off my finger which made me scream in pain. He's been searching for Saya and her childhood friend's whereabouts for weeks and obviously, he found nothing.

We were practically empty, and I really wish someone had warned us about times like that and what to do. ‘‘I’m here to gather all your pieces. Just fight to hold on. And then they will fit again, we’ll do it in the name of love,’’ Apollo whispered before kissing my forehead. Apollo just kept holding me, no reason needed, I knew it was just to keep me there, with him. All the scenes, all the lines of this story, every word of those pages were simply slipping from my hands, and I was so scared of how this would end. If it would end.

Apollo reasoned, making me feel relieved. I held my breath when we heard their footsteps walking away. Alice and I did not leave the plant until their car was gone. We both breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the ground when the car was gone and no one was left to guard the house. "I thought she would be dead, Mayu," Alice sighed. "I thought so. Pulling himself together, Apollo asked them in a sad tone of voice. Preston also became sad, on the way here he thought he would get answers to all the questions he wanted to ask his daddy. But he felt sad to see Apollo sad. Looking at him, he answered, "Yes, we know. So we want to tell you that... You can no longer bully our mummy. We will fight you together." They looked grumpy yet so cute. Apollo's eyes became teary. He wanted to hug them in his arms and cry. Five years ago... Apollo releases his bite to swing his massive head toward the sound. We watch helplessly as a naked man, who’d been in wolf form only seconds before, climbs in through the jagged-edged hole and reaches for Olivia’s lifeless form. That’s when I realize she was their target all along. They knew she wouldn’t be alone, unprotected, and they came prepared. Apollo explodes, the flesh on his hip tearing away as he kicks the wolf off with his back legs. He turns on him in a flash, raking his claws down his belly and spilling his intestines on the forest floor.

But I could see a familiar look on his face, one I often found myself carrying, a look of longing. “Maybe I take back what I said. Just a little.” Oren huffed, and I couldn’t help but laugh at her. Apollo cleared his throat, standing up before turning to me. “Better get heading down this hill before the sun goes away. Not really into the idea of climbing down jagged rocks in the dark of the night. It makes finding a cavern easier when we know nothing sleeps there during the day too.” He said. I reached for my bag only to have Apollo swipe it out from my hand.

Apollo shared his dreams and aspirations, and Beatrix listened attentively, offering words of encouragement and support. As they finished their meal and prepared to leave, Apollo took Beatrix's hand and whispered into her ear, "I love you." She smiled back at him, knowing that he meant every word. As they walked back to their car, Apollo felt grateful for the time he spent with his family. He knew that moments like this were what made life worth living. He was content and happy, knowing that he had everything he needed right there beside him. When Apollo was about to drive his car, he noticed his phone was gone.
