I found out I have a brother from mum a week ago. Shocked? I was, of course. I just know I'm the lone kid in this household. I couldn't wait to see him as soon as mum said she would bring him. And now we had been reunited. "Hello, brother. I'm Bridgette. nice to see you." I reached out a hand to him. We had to wait a while. He finally extended his hand, albeit shakily, and I saw it. He unhooked our hands immediately and said. "Axe. Call me Axe. I'm not used to it."

Asher had told him to visit Zep since he was knowledgeable when it came to men like Theo. "Who is this guy anyway? And how do you know him? Weren’t you once Lady Liliana’s colleague?" "He's my brother." Zep turned toward him sharply. "What? That famous businessman Theo Jones is your brother?" "Do I need to repeat myself?" Jack said dryly. "But I don’t consider him my brother. I have no brother who’s a psycho." "He is?" "Yes." Zep nodded slowly at Jack’s confirmation. "So, according to you, he’s your brother. What kind? Legitimate or illegitimate?"

When I came back from Silvermoon Training Camp, I saw my older brother, Zachary Barker, leaning back against the couch with fine beads of sweat sliding down his taut neck. He was wearing some gray sweatpants, and his eyes looked somewhat dazed. "Zachy? Why are you back so early today?" I went over to him, meaning to grab his hand, but instead, I touched a warm, sticky liquid on his hand. "Why's your hand all wet?" I asked, holding up my hand and sniffing it. "There's a strange smell to it too…"

I say and tap my fingers against the table stacked neatly with files. "Already done," Jackie answers and cleans his hands on his overalls. "I checked inventory and made some suggestions. They are all on the files on your table." I nod and pick the file he's pointing at up. It's printed but I find some of his sloppy writing along the edges where he's made some corrections. "I'll check them out," I say. Jackie nods and turns around to open the door. Then he stops and turns back around. “Your brother called the office. He said he's been trying to reach you and asked me to let you know when you came by."

Noticing that I was standing in front of Captain Walter, he quickly put on a smile and extended his hand. “Greetings, sir. I’m Jack, the boss of Jenkins Construction.” I scoffed and refused to shake his hand. Instead, I turned and got into the car, using another phone to call my father to let him know I was safe. I was still unfamiliar with Jacksboro City’s situation and needed his guidance. Jack’s eyes briefly flashed with irritation when I ignored him, but when he glanced at Captain Walter, he quickly suppressed it. “Captain Walter, just who exactly did my brother offend? Please help us smooth things over. The Jenkins family will be deeply grateful.”
