I screamed, anger pouring out of me.
Jake sniffed, staring at me as if I had grown four heads. Was he even listening? “You still smell like me. It makes sense, but it doesn’t at the same time. How did we make this possible? It’s not possible, but here you are...” he mumbled, confusion clouding his features.
“Are you even listening to me?” I growled, frustration boiling inside me.
“What did you say?” he asked, snapping back to reality.
I raised my hand to slap him again, but he caught it halfway. “Don’t get carried away, little mate. Relax; the stress is not good for my child,” he said, a hint of mockery in his tone.
