***** Scarlet was walking with April and Miley near the pond at the back of the manor. April was once again talking about the time she died. "I remembered getting struck by lightning once. The sky was the bluest that day. I was eating some grapes while flirting with a young lad who stole them for me." April sighed, smiling at the memory. “Auntie Julie”, she cried with tears threatening to spill from her bright eyes. “I don’t want to go to that school anymore!” Julie made the monumental decision to be the guardian of her late sister Mara’s beautiful daughter when she died shortly after giving birth to Hannah. Being a mother isn’t easy, even for a normal child and Julie knew this. The problem was that Hannah wasn’t a normal child, and Julie learned when Hannah was very young that she had a strange ability to just know things.

Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. So... you guys know me as May Jones.” She hesitated, then forced herself to say it. “But that’s not my real name.” Silence. Trent was the first to react, blinking. “I’m sorry, what?” April exhaled. “My real name is April Harrington.” Poppy let out a strangled sound. “Are you kidding me?” Sophie’s brows pulled together. “As in Harrington Enterprises?”
