An Assassin For The Billionairess

An Assassin For The Billionairess

I wished, with a sudden, sharp ache in my chest, that someone would actually look at me like that for real. I dropped my iPad and leaned into the chair, closing my eyes. The assassination attempt on my father earlier that evening had drained the last of my adrenaline I was tired. I was stressed. And more than anything, I was desperate to feel something other than terror. I thought back to the night before. I had been on my way to find Kenneth, fueled by my friends' advice to "attack," to take control, to make him beg. My seduction plan had been interrupted by the alert of my dad’s murder attempt.

I WAS HIS ASSASSIN, NOW HIS OBSESSION

I WAS HIS ASSASSIN, NOW HIS OBSESSION

He should have seen that coming for daring to ask a question when Hades hadn’t given orders. “Now that I have everyone’s attention,” Hades stands in the middle so we can all see him—but strangely, his eyes are on me. “The assassin for this job is Viper.” Everyone stills. Blood slowly drains from Jake’s face. I drop to my knees. “Alpha Hades—” “You’ve always been curious about the killers of your parents, right?” He has a small smirk on his face as he stares at me, and I ball my hands into fists. “And you’ve always wanted to be a full member of the Nameless.”

Assassin of Alpha Academy

Assassin of Alpha Academy

But if this man-boy, I hated calling him that, but I have yet to have him divulge a name, thinks he will live, he's sorely mistaken. Rule number one of being an assassin is to show no mercy. We learned, as kids, that if you show mercy, you get stabbed in the back. The weak get killed, and in our world, there is no time for weakness. That sounds totally laughable since we're both here pretending to basically be pussies. I hated this fucking shit. If it were up to me, I would've ended this all on the first night we were here. But oh no, Commander Rourke wanted us to play the long game.

The Failed Assassination

The Failed Assassination

He looked very different from the previous timeline, where he acted like he was God’s gift to the world. When threatened, even vermin fought to survive, much less Luis. He appeared anxious as he tried to get himself out of this predicament. “It was my fault that I arrived late, but Cara has always mistreated Bianca, using her pregnancy as an excuse to do whatever she wanted. Before leaving, she even stole my communication device. I didn’t even know there was an assassination attempt!” My heart skipped a beat when he said this. I gave a bitter laugh. The communication device I had begged for had suddenly become something I had stolen.

The Assassin's Mate

The Assassin's Mate

“Normally, I would hand an assignment to whichever handler had the best suited assassin. This particular target calls for all hands-on deck.” I dropped the file onto the table, letting the image of Rory slide out just enough to be seen. The handlers were professional, they quickly replaced their confused glances with blank expressions. It wasn’t unusual that we would have to eliminate one of our own, but Rory was unique. “As some of you may be aware, one of our own was murdered.” I paused to gauge how my words were being received. “Selene was our top assassin.” “You can’t really be insinuating that Rory killed her.” One of the female handlers scoffed. “They were too close for something like

THE ASSASSIN IN HIS BED

THE ASSASSIN IN HIS BED

Finally, I turned to look at him. I let my gaze trail over his taper fade, the messy blond hair that refused to behave and those stupid innocent blue eyes that made people trust him instantly. He had the face of a saint, smooth lines, sharp cheekbones, a mouth that curled too easily into a smile that could make anyone feel safe. But Olek wasn’t safe. He was the Syndicate’s golden boy; the number one assassin, top of the kill board for ten damn years. I was fifth, which wasn’t bad considering I’d only been in the game for six years.

The Vampire's Second Chance

The Vampire's Second Chance

My heart raced, hand gripping the wall behind me. Red eyes stood behind him, a dagger glimmered in the moonlight. The light beam shone across the red eyes figure’s face. It’s lower part of his face covered by a black mask. The Assassin. “And I deserve to return to my prison, where Hades will send me to judgment,” Ir’ak let out a ragged breath. The dagger, once twinkling in the small light from the window, plunged into Ir’ak’s neck. His legs knees dropped into the carpet.

I’ve read every story in her series and I’m really confused about the name changes in this book - kingdom names have been changed, most of the characters names have been changed… I’m concerned this one might have been plagiarized from her? I love her books, not understanding the name changes.

ALPHAS of the PEAK

ALPHAS of the PEAK

The assassin pulled a jagged bone-knife from his belt and drove it into Harrison’s side. I saw the flash of red on Harrison’s shirt. The scent of woodsmoke and heated copper filled the room. "Harrison!" "Get the scroll out!" Harrison yelled. He slammed the assassin against a bookshelf, the wood splintering. Books tumbled down like a landslide of history. "Go!"

King of the Seditious

Dimurah peered at him curiously. “There’s two kinds of assassins here. Ones that have no aim to hurt women or children.” He leaned an elbow on the counter to be closer to her. Twisting enough to point to the far corner where a lumbering redheaded man sat pounding down as much drink as his decorative alehorn could hold. RedBayne.

Submissive Assassin

Submissive Assassin

He bit his bottom lip, lowering his arms to his sides and glancing towards his palms before asking, "What is it? Y-You...you don't like what you see?" Nate had not spoken yet, gulping when he saw Dante's fingers drop the knife beside him and reach for the next button on his dress shirt. When Nate realized what he was doing, he instinctively leaned downwards, his mind completely pushing away the assassin murderous rumours and all the threats Dante had mentioned, instead reaching for his hands and stopping him from continuing down the placket. "What the fuck are you doing?" Nate pushed his hands away, closing the other buttons as well and hiding the chain back into his shirt.
