DEOS

DEOS

That is the power of history, that two kingdoms have been fighting for since the beginning. -- Fourth page of DEOS: Ali Fiy-Arde. The Creator once had a dream, a portrait of thousands of creatures, in different shapes and size, and behind them are standing tall trees. The creatures kneel before the beautiful image of a person. After that image, the very first beast was modelled, out of mud forming itself as the Most Powerful commands it. It was great, it didn’t lack beauty, so the Master breathe life into it and started to show signs of life.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

There was something called a lament by Thoth, an Egyptian god known to the Romans as Mercury. 'Gods will leave earth and forsake Egypt. Only tales of it will be left which the future generations won't believe. Once humans lose their connection with the spirit, they will lead a life solely driven by materialism. There will come a time when the earth will be purged with fierce fires, war, and disease. Order will be brought back into the cosmos and nature will heal.'

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.

The Elven Princess

The Elven Princess

I saw it going up, my refuge, in a haze I lost it all, I lost it in an inferno, ablaze." "What do you think?" Aelanor looks at her companions. "It has to be some kind of bird, wings, plumage, feathers," Saayan offered. "Thunderbirds, Griffin, Adarna, there are so many." "Those are mythical creatures, Princess Saayan, they don't exist." Aelanor said. "They do, indeed, Princess," Pylaieus broke in. "What is myth in the human world is history in our world."

The Alpha's Ex-Mate

The Alpha's Ex-Mate

Among the Werewolves, the prevailing belief was that true mates were nothing more than fictional narratives, a figment of imagination never realized in reality. The subject of true mates remained shrouded in mystery, even when inquired of the moon goddess herself. Instead of offering clarity, she responded with enigmatic smiles, perpetuating the confusion among the Werewolves. Yet, the very idea of having a true mate intrigued Arabella profoundly. Legends suggested that these unions were predestined by the moon goddess herself, forging an unbreakable bond between two souls. Even after death, they remained inseparable, destined to be reborn repeatedly, eternally seeking their mate in each new

Lucian and Arabella

Lucian and Arabella

“I don’t understand. Are you not human? And what do you mean, Arabella paid a price?” Sybil heaved a giant sigh, “No, I am not human. I walk among Gods and Goddesses. Being around humans’ is sometimes distasteful. I am ruled by the Ancient ones, so here I am, doing their bidding. Arabella had the balls to approach the Gods to ask for a boon. Silly girl; lucky they were in a good mood that day or they might have struck her with lightening. She is a favorite of the Gods though; because of who her parents were.”

She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

They lived under a ruse of chaos, but instilling such fear in the humans they so desperately sought after took cunning, forethought, and detailed planning. They worshipped Haerlyne, who they believed was the God of Chaos, Theft, and Revenge. Aradia had told me of their great shrines, draped in ruby-red silk that flowed like blood from an open wound. They shrouded it with the bodies of their victims, giving them up in offering once their souls had been drawn from their bodies.

I am loving this beautifully written book! The author takes the time to craft the characters and the ways the natural world mirrors this inner world. I love that this is a very different kind of Alpha!

MAD END'S DECEPTION

MAD END'S DECEPTION

“A red bird that burned and rose again from its own ashes.” “Except it wasn’t a myth,” Araheen replied. “The phoenix was one of the High Immortals.” Her gaze drifted toward the Mad End’s Wall. “I was still very young when my mother first told me the story of Abennu,” she said wistfully. “Mother said she was the most beautiful of the High Immortals. When the world was still wrapped in darkness, she was the one who carried light across it.” She then turned to him. “And she was the one who gave the salamanders their fire.”

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

She had no immediate comeback either. Eventually she gave a curt nod, then went back to her armor. Aya hugged Miyako, pressing her right ear against Miyako's belly – her very flat belly. "What will her name be in our tongue?" Aya's precious eyes sought out an answer in mine. "Suwais-urāni," I wracked my mind for the proper word usage. "Technically that means 'Bird that burns to ash' since there is no Phoenix in the Old Kingdom Hittite mythology. Neither flame – 'tāru', or fire – 'agnish' – convey the proper mystical meaning.

Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

One of which include: The connection between the Greek giants and the nephilims. Egyptian Inspired by the cycles of nature, the Egyptians saw time in the present as a sequence of habitual patterns, whereas the earliest intervals of time had been linear. Myths are set in these earliest times, and fable sets the pattern for the cycles of the present. Present activities repeat the occasions of myth, and in doing so renew maat, the quintessential order of the universe. Amongst the most vital episodes from the mythic past are the creation myths, in which the gods structure the universe out of primordial chaos; the memories of the reign of the solar god Ra upon the earth; and the Osiris myth, conc
