In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

It was a tapestry of legends, myths, and history waiting to be unraveled. She turned to Roberick with a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Tell me, Roberick, what's the most fascinating legend you've come across in your research about Aradonna?" Roberick's face lit up with enthusiasm. "There are many, but one that has always intrigued me is the tale of the 'Gardens of Eternal Bloom.' It's said that in the heart of Aradonna, there exists a hidden garden where the flowers never wither, and the air is always filled with the sweetest fragrances. It's rumored to be a place of immense beauty and serenity, a symbol of the kingdom's resilience."

Aphrodite

Aphrodite

I asked him, panic thick in my voice as I suddenly looked around in fright and waited for whatever this evil may be to suddenly attack me since I was aware of its existence. "Tis a tale, is it not?" he casually spoke with a shrug and I shook my head. "There is truth in myths, Abigor. You of all people should know that," he was a man of intelligence, no doubt a man that should be aware of truths in all matters myth or folklore, "and what you have described...only one mythical creature is capable of sucking the blood out of its victims..." Master Abigor looked down at me, his eyes emotionless yet eager. The left corner of his lips slightly raised as he gave me a slow blink, "and which mythical

The reincarnation of Arcas the great god of the sky, Zeus has cast him into the stars but again, the moon goddess took pity on him and sought an audience with the great grandfather asking for him to be reborn for all that he had done to help Aspu and Tiamat, the true sky gods of this realm. The Legend of Amaryah

The Legend of Amaryah

she replied to everyone while cheerfully waving her hands and looking around. “Woah! What is this?” she asked a seller as she picked up a weird looking item from his table. The seller wasted no time as this is an actual potential buyer: “Good day, Young Lady! Four months ago, I traded with a group of merchants who called themselves Miracle. They said this could make fire and even showed me how, but it never worked for me. It should suit a curious girl such as yourself, young lady!” Aryan inhaled deeply and saved the lectures for later. He dismounted from his horse and went towards Amaryah.

Save Them to Save Myself?

Save Them to Save Myself?

as he says this he tosses me over the desk and towards his father. I close my eyes thinking at least i tried when their father catches me. I open my eyes surprised I’m alive when i hear a chuckle, “Young lady. i promise they would do nothing to harm you, as a matter of fact they have been curious about humans since they were young. so I’m not surprised they brought you to me as soon as they seen you and realized you were human.” i nod and he puts me down. i stand up and get my balance, “thank you sir, My name is Arabella, and I am just passing through and happen upon them fighting and tried to come up with a solution, and now im here.” He looks at the boys and the nod and then he turns his a

Lost Heir of the Pack

Lost Heir of the Pack

0 "Grandfather used to tell us stories of them, don't you remember? Why, those stories would keep us up for hours." 0 "What were they about?" Roman asks and Gia's face lights up. 0 "Roman, darling! How lovely to hear your voice." 0 "You too, Gia. Can you tell us more about these stories of yours?" He asks and she chuckles. 0 "Our Grandfather loved to scare us as children. Ahriman and Lamia were a pair of evil spirits. Ahri was the king of destruction and darkness and Lamia, or Amia as Grandfather called her, was a child eating demon queen. All stories revolved around how they would find naughty enchanted children and force them to do terrible things to cast spells for the underworld. They wo

The Forgotten God

The Forgotten God

In Aaru the rushes grow tall and wide, along the banks of the Ka and into the veil of eternity. Where grand Osiris resides, protecting the souls who passed those many perils along the way, thwarting the armed fiends that guarded the doors. The boundless reeds signal rest and cradle the weary, concealing lush hunting and offering nothing but paradise. Where the sun rises, the soul sets, forever and for a day.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The language in the documents was chilling. "The great fox wishes to have the lamb's stomach." "The great tiger wants the heart of a lamb." "The rest of the lamb can be turned into soup." It read like a twisted fable, but Aria wasn't taking it at face value. In context, the fox, tiger, and lamb were clearly people. The predators were coming to "feast", and the lambs? Likely the young women in the building. In ancient Farshyan mythology, demons called humans "lambs".

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!
