They didn't know what to do with themselves. Archer's hands glowed gold as he worked on Sable's chest wound. The gash was deep, and her body was thin from years of surviving on nothing but snow and stubbornness, but she was fighting. Through the third bond, I felt Archer's exhaustion and his determination. He wouldn't let her die. Not after everything.

Archer's POV I noticed that Farrell was engulfed in a fight with Alpha Ryan and saw that it was my chance to get rid of him once and for all. I held the bow in my hand and positioned the arrow in the middle. I retracted the arrow and shot it in his direction. " Farrell," I heard a familiar voice scream out loud, it was star's, her body was running towards Farrell and she pushed him out of the way to take the arrow. " Starrrrrr," Farrell and I screamed out in shock.

“Of course, you’d pull something like this.” I ignored their exchange and stepped forward, my hands trembling. “Archer, what are you doing? Why are you acting like this? Your friends, everyone—we don’t understand your behavior! It’s so weird, so… wrong!” His gaze snapped back to me, fierce and unyielding. “You think it’s easy for me, Katrina? It’s not! Do you know what it’s like to sleep in that fucking big house, pretending everything’s fine, when all I want to do is crawl into my father’s room and wrap my hands around his neck?”

Look where that got me. “Mr. Archer is sure over the moons being CEO,” I murmured. “While I’m stuck here doing an already perfect report just because of Grace’s need to impress him.” “I don’t think that's it,” Alex said, shaking his head. “Grace is just stressed out. She is worried that Mr. Archer is going to make a lot of mess in the company and that she might have to practically spoon-feed him along the way. Let’s just say she isn’t a fan of the second Archer son.”

I sighed, “Long story,” I mumbled tiredly then grabbed her arm and dragged her with me towards our first class while Raph followed us this whole time like a faithful “bodyguard” as I told her all about what happened these past two days, letting out the part where I was shot and the fact that Luc, Raph and Azrael were actually freaking Archangels, of course. We were now currently sitting in classroom, taking notes when I suddenly heard her saying, “I have to tell you something.”

He was playing defense; that was not what I wanted. "Come on, Alpha!" a pack member shouted, and he charged at me at full speed, trying to knock me down, but I moved faster, slamming him down on the ground. The crowd cheered for me. I was happy but the fight was not fair. He held back at some point and it didn't go well with me. After the match, he leaned in again, with a playful smile, his warm breath whispering against my ear. "Princess, come to my chamber later. You've wounded me terribly, and only you can tend to my injuries."

Archer scanned her from head to toe, examining every inch of the young princess' physique. ”Are you really that loud every fucking time? You look like my pinky finger, so thin and tiny. See that tall mountain over there?" Archer scoffed while pointing at the misty and dark mountain probably hundreds of kilometers away from them. Vivienne frowned. “What about it?” she posed a question. “That's how high your attitude is,” Archer reckoned with his eyes fixed on his blade. Naturally, he should shut the princess out but Vivienne would always have her way to steal Archer's focus and make him speak more than what he ought to say.

I said, nodding. He smiled. "That's good" he slurred. "Arch, it's going to hurt really bad" Axel said. Arch smiled groggily. "I know, I can take it" Axel held his free hand. "Okay, do it" Red croaked, his eyes slipping close once more. Taking a deep breath, I pressed the knife onto his wound. He stiffened, his grip on Axel's hand tightening. I took it off and he clenched his fist. Even with his eyes closed, I could tell that he was hurting badly. I gave the knife to Axel and he left to heat it up.

he declared. Aurora looked at him, an eyebrow raised slightly. “No. You should just stay here and take care of your brother. You do not know the Forest, and having you for company might just cause more trouble than help.” Archer flushed, feeling his neck grow warm. He was a prince, after all, and princes were rarely taunted and insulted. “I am not quite as inept as you assume, my lady.” Aurora flashed him a smile, and the prince felt his breath hitch. As sarcastic as it was, it was the first time he had seen a smile on her face. It made her even lovelier than she already was, and Archer had thought that that was not possible.

Anna silently nodded as she smiled again. "Maybe you will get along. She might go out tonight. You guys should meet each other." Anna glanced at the direction of her friend's house. Archer followed her gaze and was surprised that she was looking at the house where he heard the awful screaming earlier. He wanted to ask about it, but it's none of his business and he doesn't care. "See you around Archer!" She hopped away happily. Archer was happy to get rid of the girl. She was too loud, almost annoying. He could've left her the moment she said hi, but her mystery kept him from moving.
