Are Novels Fiction Novels & Stories

Most of Nina's books in Maria's collection were general fiction, full of suspense, desire, longing, crimes, and thrilling scenes. There was no happily ever after, I just realized that after Nina made that statement that she no longer believes in happily ever after. But that was the reality of the world we live in. Not every one of my stories will end up on happy notes, some will end up on bad and sad notes. Most of Nina's book ends up on sad notes and sometimes they are neutral. Fiction is meant to evoke emotion, but never at the cost of your mental or emotional health. Everyone processes stories differently, and what is thrilling for one reader may be overwhelming for another. Please proceed with awareness and care. At the time, I had no formal training in writing, no grasp of complex literary techniques, and very little understanding of storytelling rules. She put into words all she saw from the moving picture. But she did something else other than tell the truth. She wrote a character that resembled her in those stories. At least, even just in her novels, she would create friends that wanted her. At least, even just in her novels, she would be able to live the life she could never have lived in reality. At least, even if it's just in her novels, she wouldn't be alone. Day and night she wrote and wrote until she filled pages and pages with words of truth. She wrote until there wasn't a fairy tale lie she couldn't expose anymore.
