A huge red demon with the body of a muscular and furry beast and the head and neck of a python emerged from the ground. The soul looked surprised but then continued sitting and showing an 'I don't care' attitude. Of course, it would behave like that because it was a soul and felt that it wouldn't be touched by anything. But I knew that this demon can definitely cause harm to it because the mirror summons demons according to my situation. The demon reached out and tried to grab the soul in vain. The soul laughed at the demon's attempt and laughed at me as well. To my surprise, the demon laughed and the spat a black sticky substance at the soul.

"My soul? Is that what she did to me? Do you know what it is called?" I hit send and after a few seconds the computer dings again and this time the email reads, "It's the Soul Eater. Surviving off of our souls, she gets everlasting life and the only way to get yours back, is to kill her. She has been around for thousands of years and will continue to take people's souls unless someone stops her." Typing one more reply, I send it and a notification comes up, "Unable to send. Please try again."

Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?" Miles away from him the girl with a cuddling baby in her arms uttered looking up at the sky, "I express my deep gratitude to Y ou for sending this angel to me, Ya Rab." 

The woods fell silent. Even the wind held its breath as the figure stepped into the open, barefoot, draped in a gown that shimmered like fog and blood. Her hair Aria’s hair moved as if underwater. Her posture, her gait, the shape of her lips, it was all **Aria**. But the eyes… Kael froze. Where once there had been fire, compassion, fury now there was only void. No recognition. No memory. No **soul**.

Dust rains down. The goddess’s voice tears through the barrier: “Give… her… back”. Aria stops walking. Ares and I stop immediately with her. The air grows thicker heavier like we’re inhaling smoke with no fire. But Aria? She just lifts her chin. “She’s trying to get inside my head again,” she whispers. My lightning surges up my spine. “Let her,” I growl. “So I can personally electrocute her soul.” Ares snorts. “That’s not how souls work.”

“Because you’re the only thing that’s ever been real to her.” The spell began, Liora stepped into the soulstream, She opened her eyes to flames, But not destructive. They were beautiful. Controlled.
