Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?" Miles away from him the girl with a cuddling baby in her arms uttered looking up at the sky, "I express my deep gratitude to Y ou for sending this angel to me, Ya Rab." 

The woods fell silent. Even the wind held its breath as the figure stepped into the open, barefoot, draped in a gown that shimmered like fog and blood. Her hair Aria’s hair moved as if underwater. Her posture, her gait, the shape of her lips, it was all **Aria**. But the eyes… Kael froze. Where once there had been fire, compassion, fury now there was only void. No recognition. No memory. No **soul**.

Dust rains down. The goddess’s voice tears through the barrier: “Give… her… back”. Aria stops walking. Ares and I stop immediately with her. Behind her, Raya screamed as Calista’s blade sank into her ribs. “No!” Aria cried, spinning and unleashing a burst of raw magic. It slammed into Calista, throwing her across the room. Raya collapsed, coughing blood. “Do it,” she whispered. “Now.” Aria turned back to the altar, tears blinding her. She pressed both palms to the stone—and opened her soul.
