This is a demon that create something in a human's soul, that little hope, that little good, and then when the humans are happy, it would squeeze down to bits what that human loved the most. I turned my attention to the soul who was already whaling in desperate pain. The black stick substance looked like it was sucking on something. That was when I saw that the substance had created a heart and merged it to the soul only to suck it down so the soul would feel the agony of hurt and human pains. I don't know but I kinda liked what was happening and I could feel myself changing into demon form again. The same demon form which pain had turned me into in my room.

He lacked inner peace. He inhaled the vinous smoke as the corner of his lips twitched in a sad smile. His eyes deceived him being moist and a lone tear slipped down his face on the sand. The sand sucked the water as soon as it fell on it, and he wondered if his pain disappeared in thin air like that. He breathed out a puff of smoke through his nose and mouth. Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?"

It was a growl, a growl that made me feel like he was going to kill everyone who had attacked us. “Get away from her!” Brayden shouted, out of control. An unnatural cold spread from the wound, invading every nerve, every cell. It was a pain that was not physical, but an agony that made me feel like my soul was disintegrating. I don’t remember when the world stopped feeling like a world. I only remember the pain. Not the kind that stays in the body — That kind would be merciful. This was soul-pain, the kind you feel in your marrow, in your bloodline, in the ancient part of you that remembers things you never lived. It began as a tug in my chest. A pressure between my ribs. A whisper in the dark. Then it grew teeth. It dug into me. Pulled.

Abyss shouts to me as if she’s talking through pain. Which only highlights my own pain, the pain she stated was our souls stripping apart.

He would beat Sylvio to the brink of death and then let Pebbles do whatever she wanted with him. Sure enough, Sylvio expected this. “Will you believe me if I say that I was not hurting Pebbles, but helping her heal the wounds on her soul?” Sylvio replied with a forced smile. “Help her heal the wounds of her soul? Do you think I’m dumb? Does a treatment hurt her so much?” David did not believe Sylvio at all. “The soul is the most mysterious and fragile thing. If she wants to recover, she needs to suffer some pain. It’s inevitable,” Sylvio explained.

I closed my eyes, forcing myself to calm down and shut my wolf. “Damn it.” I curled in pain after forcefully subduing my wolf. The pain was immeasurable. It was like I was being torn apart from the inside. We were taught how to subdue our wolves, but it wasn’t advisable to do frequently because it was believed to ruin our souls. It took almost an hour to recover, and it was still painful, but I could step out of the car to breathe. I feel suffocated until now, and my emotions are all over the place.
