“We will discuss this later.” She motioned for her soldiers to follow her and headed in the direction of the sounds. When they came upon the large room, the vampires and the werewolf were still bent over while Chloe lay in a heap between them. Verona’s eyes went fiery red at the sight of a half-dozen dragons filling up the room. Her voice was rich with hostility as she hissed, “You dare step foot in Meta territory?” “Spare me,” Myriana said as she set fire to Verona with her breath.

Hana smiled at them, "Too weak." The girl shouted and rushed towards Hana with a tornado with a pointed arrow of water. Hana's hands were open, and the two giant dragons opened their mouths to devour the water arrow with the girl. The two boys simultaneously rushed towards Hana with a whirlwind of thunder and the wind screaming violently. Hana used the Blue circle to protect herself, then she drew a small circle and disappeared in front of the three. The girl was falling incessantly into the crater below; the two boys rushed down and successfully rescued the girl upwards before being burned by the volcano.

He escaped without serious injury, but knew he had to seek out the assistance of their offspring. Nayara and Ghaeron were appalled at what their mother was doing, and were more than willing to aid their sire in stopping her. Neyalha would not be subdued easily; her powers were vast, able to draw upon the raw energy of the universe. No, the Dragons decided, it would take more than their own efforts. Therefore Nayara and Ghaeron sought out the aid of the Na’Himara and the Black Knights. They would require forces both mystical and physical to stop Neyalha’s destructive rampage.

Two beautiful dragons were soaring in the sky. Golden and silver. Asfar and Storm. They raced and played biting each other and doing pirouettes in the sky looking so cosy and happy. Dorrin was always smooth with Mira, they never had fights, or challenges in the relationship. Always understanding, always knowing how to make things right Dorrin, not like me, sharp-edged and short-tempered. I reached the lake, shifted and just sat staring at the water.

“You my little fire dragon, are once again very insightful.” She turns, smiling at me, pleased with my praise but obviously confused. “What did I do?” “Maybe Avani set up the war games wrong,” I say. I watch Keya whose eyes go wide. “We need teams.” “Teams?” Elio asks. “At least one person with each element. The dragons will never allow their riders to be on a team without them, so Elio and I would be on a team with, say, Ajax, who has the earth element, Kaylani with the water element, and well, I think air is mostly out. None of Cal and Eliane’s young are old enough to fight yet, leaving only Cal and Ishir to wield the air element.” Keya says.

His eyes were completely yellow showing that Diego had come forward. “Would you guys listen, If I stay here the Dragon Emperor will track me here and it will put the babies in more danger. I can't let that happen, I don't plan on letting the Dragon Emperor catch me, but I can't just sit here knowing he is out there looking for me.” Lynn said, looking at Montego who was still growling. “Lynn, you will not put yourself in danger and no other man will touch what is mine.” Montego growled out slowly.

The next morning, we plan to talk to Cal about his DNA, but before we have a chance to do that, another one of the dragons shifts. Because these first shifts are so painful for the dragons, we all go outside to be with them. This time, it’s Kenzo, one of our earth dragons. He, Ajax, and Ancalagon have become close friends. So, I’m not surprised to see Ajax on one side of Kenzo and Ancalagon on the other. Ancalagon is crooning encouragement while Ajax is telling him to breathe through the pain.

Renee’s face turned pale, filled with horror. “That’s an Azure Naga! It possesses the bloodline of a dragon! Be careful!” This warning left Adrian momentarily stunned, but then a wave of killing intent emanated from him. The air vibrated with a terrifying power that seemed capable of obliterating everything. The entire sky and earth quaked under its force. Boom, boom, boom! The ground-shaking tremors grew louder as the massive Azure Naga surged forward. Its aura pulsed intensely, making it look all the more frightening. The beast’s enormous body and sweeping tail lashed out like a thunderstorm.

"But this will be the end, Elijah. I will have avenged my family and can move forward with my plans. A deep roar echoed around them. Sophia’s mouth dropped when she saw an enormous dragon, made of lightning, emerge from the clouds and position itself next to Jackson. Its size was unimaginable; the younger Anderson was a speck compared to it. The blue lightning of its form cracked dangerously. Sophia cursed as she lifted herself up, trying to run for Elijah. "Die!" he shouted as he directed the dragon towards Elijah.

I'm at peace with our decision but I hate seeing my friends suffer. "Damn you, take me!" I yell to the sky. Magic bursts behind me but I don't look back. Lightning strikes again and hits Ashrac. His body is tossed high and I have hope that the Goddess has taken our offer and will save him. His dragon explodes from his human body with a burst of light that's impossible to look at. "Ahhhh, hell," screams Sarn and the magic behind me bursts again. I dare to glance back. Sierra and Sarn are the most incredibly brilliant purple dragons. "What the hell," I mutter.
