Arthur's sister finally stepped back, smoothing her dress. “You know it’s been absolutely dead here since you left,” she complained, hands on her hips. “I swear, if I hear one more boring council update, I’m going to fake my own death just to escape.”
Arthur chuckled. “Dramatic, as always.”
“I mean it,” she said, pointing at him. “Next time you vanish, you’re taking me with you. I don’t care where you go or what excuse you come up with. I refuse to be left behind while you run off having all the adventures.”
