I've been cleaning the spaces she stood in for three years and I never knew. Ash says one word. Very quiet. *Ours.* I drop my left shoulder. Raise it. Drop it. Raise it. I go back to the forms. Left side. Open. Fixed.

“What should I do if I run into her again?” Asher’s gaze darkened. His hand tightened slightly around her palm. “You do nothing. Do you hear me? That woman is a snake, a cunning one. God knows what she’ll do to you if she ever gets her poisonous fangs on you, and I cannot let that happen.”

“Yes you do” There was a long silence after her reply, making the aura awkward. "You should go to bed, it's late." Asher urged as he stood up to his wardrobe.

I quickly stood up and ran towards Asher, placing my hand over his mouth to shut him up. “No she fucking shouldn’t.” I said, while turning the shade of a fucking tomato

Her black hair whipped around as she straightened her form. With a huff she got ready to leave, her red heels crunching the broken glass shreds under them. Her hips were swaying as she flipped her dark tresses behind her shoulder.She turned around, her hand on the door knob and with a cocky expression she smirked at Asher. " I don't know why I bother, you always come back to me anyway." She said with a shrug. "Not this time Shelly." Asher finally looked at her and shook his head.

She wasn’t wrong. “You should go back to her,” she said. “Fight for her. Don’t sit here acting like it’s already over when it’s clearly not.” I let out a slow breath, and my thoughts felt… clearer just like that. I nodded slightly. “Yeah,” I said. “You’re right.” She gave a small, and understanding nod, and she was stepping back fully now. “Good. Then go.” I straightened, running a hand over my face once before turning toward the door.

She said, smiling sheepishly. Asher rolled his eyes. " Yeah… have a go at it. Not like I can convince you otherwise." He muttered. She chuckled. Okay, Maybe she would be fine after all.

“She may be an omega but she’s still a person and I believe that a person should be treated with respect no matter what position they hold” I see him smile and I just know that I gave the right answer.

I asked. “For a week,” she said. “We already have the break from school. We might as well use it properly.” Asher’s hand dropped from my shoulder as he stepped away, shoving the hands into his pockets. “Running away isn’t—” “It’s not running,” she interrupted. “It’s simply just breathing.”
