Ashes to Dawn

Ashes to Dawn

She said slowly, drink still in her hand. I tilted my head slightly. “Some people actually do.” “And you?” she asked, meeting my gaze. I considered that for a moment. I didn't love watching other people fall, not at all. It was a sad scene to ever watch. “I think people fall for a reason,” I said. “The real question is what they do after. How do they deal with it?” She held my gaze, something flickered in her eyes. “And what do you think I’ll do?” she asked quietly, like she was aptly listening to whatever I had to say. And like she'd take advice on anything.

RISING FROM THE ASHES

RISING FROM THE ASHES

As dirt was placed over the casket, a feeling of finality washed over the family. Each clump of earth that covered the casket seemed to symbolize the closing of a chapter, the end of a life that had been cherished. Tears flowed freely, mingling with the rain that fell from the sky, as they stood together in their shared grief. Whizz's hand found Liya's, their fingers intertwining as they leaned on each other for support. The pain of loss was something they carried together, a burden shared by all those who had known and loved Samuel.

Ashes of the Sky

Ashes of the Sky

I hate that some stupid, broken part of me wants to answer him. Tears running down my face now as I try to claim my breath back. Callan raises both hands slowly, palms out, like he is approaching a wounded animal. I hate that too. “Okay,” he says. “I won’t touch you.” My back slides down the wall before I can stop it. Suddenly I am on the floor, knees pulled to my chest, my breath tearing out of me in sharp, useless gasps. I am weak. I am pathetic. I am falling apart in front of Callan fucking Ravaryn.

The Falling Leaves In Autumn

The Falling Leaves In Autumn

He rested his profound gaze on me and asked, “How did you fall? When did you get here?” I clenched my fists tightly inside my sleeves. I knew that tearing things up at that moment would not do me any good. I obediently leaned into his arms like I always did. “I just got here. My heels were too high. I twisted my ankle.” The tension in his face finally eased. He scooped me up and headed out. He said in a low voice, “You’re not allowed to wear heels this high anymore.” I looked at the face I had once been so captivated by, yet an endless chill spread through my heart.

ASHES OF BROTHERHOOD

ASHES OF BROTHERHOOD

My chest felt heavy, like every heartbeat was dragging me closer to a choice I didn’t want to make. Then Knox stepped forward. “We can’t wait. They’re laughing at us and we won't have that.” His gaze slid to me. “Unless someone here wants to talk peace.” I met his eyes. “I want to think before I bury another brother.” “Thinking doesn’t stop bullets,” he shot back. “You gonna write them a letter, Ash? Ask them nicely not to kill us?” A few brothers snickered, uneasy laughter mixing with anger. Griff slammed his fist down. “Enough! Ash, you in or out?”

Scar : the rejected Luna

Scar : the rejected Luna

“It suits you. Maybe that was your name ! You don’t like it?” I hesitated, staring at the blackened wood I would just pull from the hearth. “I don’t know,” I muttered. “Maybe. Maybe it fits because I feel like something burned down… and all that is left is smoke.” She looked up then, really looked at me. “Sometimes,” she said gently, “ashes are what we rise from.” The words stayed with me long after she left the room. But no name…Ash, Paul, or any other…could fill the void inside me. My head was still a mess of fragments. Whispers in the dark. Screams. A girl crying out. A hand reaching for mine before the fall.

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The first time Seren saw Lucien again, it was not in moonlight. It was in ashfall. The sky above the Ashborn’s last encampment was bruised the color of secrets—muted pewter, the hue of old regrets, as if the heavens themselves refused to forgive what was coming. Cinders drifted with no real direction, falling in slow, ceaseless spirals, soft as dust shaken from the hands of a world too weary to lift itself again. Nothing was warm, nothing glowed. Even the embers in the fire rings seemed cowed into silence.

The After Rebirth: Mr. Blackstorm's Beautiful Wife

The After Rebirth: Mr. Blackstorm's Beautiful Wife

Ashley was so frightened that she jumped up, the tiles slipped when she landed, and she lost control and fell forward. But the thing is, the direction she fell was also the direction where Morgan Blackstorm was standing. Out of instinct, Ashley scrambled and grabbed. The moment she threw herself at Morgan Blackstorm, the loose bath towel was torn off without reservation. Ashley fell into a very difficult position. Her entire body fell to the ground, and her upper body also crawled down with inertia, almost gnawing mud. "Ouch..." Ashley felt that this blow would break her butt into eight petals, she lay on the ground for a while before slowly recovering, and the moment she raised her head, sh

Descendants Of Moon Goddess

Descendants Of Moon Goddess

I made the tornado do my bidding, and it let go of us. “Octavia!” Asher yelled, clinging onto me as we fell into the hole in the middle of a tornado storm filled with sand. This is pretty scary and claustrophobic. We fell into the hole and everywhere got dark. “Damn you, Misha,” I mumbled as we fell. Asher was still clinging on to me, terrified. We both got to a dark place, and we fell on our feet. While I fell on my feet because Asher was on the floor. Then I light us on fire so we can see and he is on the floor breathing out.

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

Damir muttered, taking a respectful step away from the ledge. Without a word of hesitation, Asher leaned forward and let the gravity take him, vanishing into the gray void. He didn't tumble or scream; he dropped like a stone, cutting through the poison air until he slammed down onto his feet. He landed perfectly in front of a massive, towering entrance that felt like the mouth of a monster.

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.
