Ash’s POV The roar of the clubhouse hit me before I even turned off my engine. Laughter, shouts and the sound of bottles clinking rent the air and for a moment, I wonder how they could easily fall back into their normal lives less than twelve hours after an attack. It was chaos the way I remembered it, but somehow louder and more… non challant. Inside, the air was thick with smoke and sweat. A few brothers cheered when they saw me, others nodded, their eyes sharp, reading me like they weren’t sure what version of Ash had come back.

I snapped, pushing past her to open the window wider. “Asphyxia. That's the medical term that covers the entire…concept of suffocation. Just so you know, you know. But it's not like I was trying to kill you, or me. We're too young, and I'm incapable of murder, you know that. I've only ever killed geckos since I was born…” She rambled, trailing off when she saw my death stare. I admit, I was more pissed at the fact that her charred whatever woke me up from my dream. I wished I heard everything my father had to say, but unfortunately, I got woken up abruptly.

I submitted my resignation to Ravenshire State Medical Center. Then I returned to Ashford Hollow, held a funeral for Aidan, and buried his ashes. After I went back to Ravenshire, I threw everything in my house that belonged to my mother into the trash. Once everything was cleared out, I sold the house. Then I left the country and began a new life. The following spring, I received an email from Detective Taylor. Attached was a letter my mother had written in prison. Her handwriting was neater than I expected.

When word reached Logan’s ears, he sat in a dimly lit room in long silence. Eventually, he let out a bitter, self-mocking chuckle, but his eyes didn’t hold joy. No matter what became of Elise, Coral wasn’t coming back.

Idaliah flashed her a tearful smile, closed her eyes and bowed her head with her right hand on her chest. Speechless, Adeline stood up, but she only stood there, her hands shaking and chest burning as the chains shook with kneels after kneels that followed when Idaliah herself kneeled. She absentmindedly looked around and found fifty hearts offered and fifty heads lowered for her. "Alpha."

All that is seen is pure tranquility, like what's happening outside is a normal thing. Silence came after a long moment of fighting. Everly moved her gaze away. "Let's go. We have to get to the forest before it gets dark." Everly continued to walk further towards the end of the tunnel. Time went by and the sunset was outside. The orange sky reflected the whole kingdom. Bodies of dead citizens and military soldiers splattered on the whole ground in the kingdom. Blood spilled all throughout the marble ground and the flag of Amsterdam blazed on fire, indicating the collapse of the kingdom.
