I’m just restraining my feeling of disgust towards that demon general or else I might crush his mouth with one single blow. Glade and Deborah take turns in attacking Asmodeus. Asmodeus asked as he crouched down in front of her, wiping some blood off her cheek and licking it off his fingers. Kasey instantly moved back, disgust written all over her face. Asmodeus frowned at that and grabbed her ankle. He slowly moved his way over her, his hands pinning her legs down as he pouted, "it's not nice to look at someone with that look you know..." His words grew harsher as he dug his long black nails into her knee. "You might make them VERY angry.." Kasey held back a scream as she choked on some tears.

The room is only dimly lit by a night light hanging in the far corner. I sat up from the bed and untied the wound in my abdomen. I cringe at the wound. I can’t believe the human's got hold of Zylian poison. But I guess I am lucky to be found and treated by my mate or else I am sure I will be in serious trouble. The wound is not wholly healed but I’m sure I will be healed completely in a week or less than that if I can get medical treatment from my planet healers. I cringed as I tried to stand up. Black unseeing eyes now dotted with white in the center seemed to stare directly at her. Minera. Asmodeus stood, his back still to her. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve and chuckled lowly. “So you came.” He turned slowly, his movements jerky and his head bobbing as if he couldn’t hold it up straight. When he looked at her, the oceans in his eyes were completely still and dull. Gray eyes peered at her.

Asmodeus tilted his head, intrigued, while Andromeda scowled, her frustration palpable. “Interesting,” Asmodeus mused. “You’ve tapped into something rare. But will it be enough?” I didn’t respond. Instead, I launched forward, a blur of fur and light. Asmodeus met me head-on, his flames roaring as they clashed with my wind-driven magic. The collision sent shockwaves through the cavern, cracks appearing across the walls.

The collar rune around my throat snapped—light cracking like glass. It dissolved. Mara’s face twisted with rage. “No,” she hissed. “You don’t get to—” “I do,” I snapped. I turned to the black-water seam and spoke the only command that mattered. “RETURN.” Ash surged—not upward, not outward—*sideways*, into the water like a hook. The black water fought, swirling, trying to swallow my ash. I clenched my jaw and pushed. “RETURN HER.” The water bulged. A shape rose.

Asmodeus learned wizardry from an old, powerful wizard, so he's an absolute professional when it comes to potions, especially reverse ones, potions designed to undo spells or curses." She paused, her expression clouding slightly. "There's just one slight problem he mentioned, however."
