As he spoke, the darkness around us began to shift. It reacted to his words, forming solid shapes. A floor of dark obsidian appeared beneath our feet. Then, stone pillars began to grow out of the nothingness, reaching up toward a sky that wasn't there. It looked like a ghostly version of the Shadow King’s throne room.
"You're doing this?" I asked, looking at the stone walls that felt cold to the touch.
"We are doing it," Silas corrected. He looked at me, his violet eyes searching mine. "The Void reflects the strongest heart. Right now, your heart is full of fire and the memory of home. So, the Void is bu
