Past carts filled with weapons. I jerked in his hold and slapped at his arm that held me still to his chest. Ahead of us, I sighted everyone with bags and beside them were six horses. Three of them were black, one was chest nut, one was white and I recognized Asterix, Zephyros's arrogant horse. I scowled at the beast when we finally reached them, remembering how well he treated me. In reply, he whined. Zephyros dropped me roughly but I still landed on my feet. Ha!

The air shimmered with heat, and the familiar scent of brimstone mixed with hay filled my nostrils. "And this," I said with a flourish, "is where we keep the hell horses." Sebastian's jaw dropped as he took in the sight of the massive, obsidian-black steeds, their manes and tails flickering with ethereal flames. I approached one of my favorites, a mare named Ember, and stroked her flaming head. The fire licked at my skin, warm but not burning. "Holy shit," Sebastian breathed, his eyes wide with fascination. "They're... beautiful."

On her head, there is a big moonstone between her eyes. ''I want to ride that one,'' I say. Roan walks towards the mare, ''Good choice this is Eowyn, she is the daughter of our best mare.
