My eyes widened as I watched everything unfold. The horse had a light brown body. Its mane, legs, tail and snout were a darker shade of brown. A white line traced down from its forehead down to its nose. In the manner that it behaved, the horse came from the mountains. And those horses were not used to other creatures other than their own kind. I looked into its eyes. It was in panic, horrified that a rope held it back. “My deepest apologies for the ruckus, Your Highness,” Lord Cyrus knelt before me. He continued, “This horse still needs more time to be trained.”

He said with a puffed out chest and proud tone. Among the horses, there was Septa, a spirited mare with a coat that mirrored the vibrant colors of a sunrise. Her mane and tail flowed like liquid fire, weaving a tapestry of brilliance as she galloped through the meadows. By her side was Midnight, a stallion with a coat as dark as the night sky, adorned with stars that glimmered with a celestial glow. In a corner stall stood labroha, a gentle mare with a coat as pure as moonlight itself. She possessed an ethereal beauty that captivated all who gazed upon her, and her presence radiated a soothing calmness that whispered of forgotten secrets.

“Old Blaze here is a Friesian. He is very gentle even though he looks scary. Hailey, you will be riding him." Giving Bruce a shocked look, I could just nod. There is a fondness in his voice like the way a person would ask about a close friend. "They are in good health, my Prince." The young scrawny groom replies with a grin. Kyan urges me forward so we are standing in front of a pen. A jet black mare with large black eyes stares back at us. "This is Lady Coal." He nudges me to the next pen. I grinned and excused myself to go and clean up. Once in my room, there was a gift sitting on my bed. I went over and opened it. It was a small framed portrait of what looked like a great black horse with wings, and it had a head like the cross of a seahorse and dragon, the mane and tail looked feathery, but I wouldn’t know until I was to see one. The animal was magnificent. The card read, 'One day I will take you for a ride on my tayren. That is what the flying animals are called on our worlds. Hope we can be friends.'

I look at him. "She is beautiful. Honestly, if you put a horn on this horse she could pass as a unicorn", I slowly stroke her body, she is perfect. "She is an Andalusian horse, Jaguar is a Friesian horse and fish, well fish is a fish" I laugh shaking my head, he is far from a fish, and Jaguar is beautiful and black, he reminds me of the story black beauty. "Okay Fish is a Knabstrupper, I had hoped MJ would look at the spots and call him Dalmatian, spot, but no he got fish" I laugh, the horse is unusual I have never seen a horse with spots.

' I liked it even more when Kael gave me a genuine look of respect when my stallion, Nero, reared up under the stable arch, spooked by a mountain hawk. "Fine handling," Kael noted as I brought the heavy beast back to earth, my thighs gripping his flanks until he settled. "Foolish creature," I muttered, patting Nero's neck as the hawk circled above.
