On the bright display a red dot keeps beaming inside a greenish map, some kind of satellite GPS, I suppose, for it's definitely not the usual G****e maps I'm used to. I frown once again, looking closer. I'm not that dumb as I'm a fan of all sorts of movies and I've seen this shit before. I'm about to touch something on the keyboard when the bathroom door swings open. I jump back instantly. Red appears through the door, shower drenched, wearing a white towel that hangs dangerously about his sculpted waist. Woah. My eyes widen for more than one reason. His arresting sight being one of them, it's the feel of being busted that makes me gulp.

Marco’s eyes widen, and I feel hatred emanating from him as he opens the bags to reveal his Alpha’s torn body. His mouth is a thin line when he sees the heart removed from Sergio's chest and looks up at Kai. “This pack will never bow to you,” he says with venom in his voice as his eyes shimmer to silver, but Kai had his heart in his hand before he could do anything. “What was that?” He says, throwing the heart to the ground and kicking Marco’s dead body to the side. He looks up and spots Carlotta as well before turning to face every wolf in attendance.

“If they try anything funny on the ship, this number has one button. It won’t save us, but it’ll make them regret it.” Rob nodded and tucked the phone in his waistband. “Grazie.” Julian looked at me, then back at him. “She’s tougher than you, you know.” Rob smiled, but it didn’t touch his eyes. “I know.” Marco appeared in the doorway. Bald, scarred, silent. He looked like he’d killed twice before breakfast. “Let’s move,” he grunted. We followed, hand in hand, our rings catching the flicker of dying candlelight.

’ Anita commanded, Marco did not listen as he sunk his canines on his shoulder making Brice whimper. ‘Marco!!’ Anita roared through the mind link, Marco let go then ran back towards the direction of the border where they came from, the warriors were following behind. Anita laughed, she could not be angry at Marco, he was just looking out for her and it felt good to have someone like that by her side. ‘Bloody hell! I am going to kill your beta.’ Brice complains to Anita through their mind link.

“Nonsense. I have set up-“ Mrs Donateli continued to speak. But Marco’s attention wasn’t on the words his mum was saying. No, he began to shudder as he moved towards the figure on the forest floor laying in a pool of blood. “Topolino? Are you there?…You never listen to me even when-“ Mrs Donateli began to grumble at the lack of communication with her son. “Bye mamma, I’ll speak to you later,” he said into the phone as he ended the call despite the protests from his mother. Marco staggered towards the blackened body in shock. A part of him wanted to run away from whatever foul thing was laying on the floor in an unnatural position.

“That’s the last name you’ll ever speak.” Marco raised his hands in false surrender. “Shoot me and doom the girl. I have men everywhere. You can’t take down an empire in one morning.” Nikolai stepped forward, cold and unwavering. “Watch us.” Then everything happened in a blur— A soldier tried to flank us. Nikolai shoved me to the left— Luca took out two— Marco lunged— I fired. The bullet hit Marco in the thigh. He fell, snarling, clutching the wound. “You little—”

Agh . "You're strong!" Marco tightened his hands on both of Cody's wrists which he still held. "You are strong. Take control of yourself ... You expel everything in your body. This is your body, Cody ... yours and your wolf ... you have the right to expel all who have no right there ... you can do it, Cody." Said Marco trying to call Cody and strengthen him. Cody's body didn't tremble anymore, he seemed to have fainted and didn't move at all. His eyes were closed and his breath was like a snore. Marco was about to stand up but was intercepted by Sandro.

It had happened so fast that No one else save for Damon saw what had happened. The rest of the pack quickly took a step back in horror as they realised that Deucalion was powerful.
