** Ravok POV Present Day Walking into the auction was like stepping into the rotting core of everything I despised in my five hundred years of walking this earth. The room was vast, and the air was saturated with perfume, sweat, and the musky stench of wolves trying too hard to mask the animal beneath their skin. Conversations hummed, all of them eager to sink their teeth into tonight’s “merchandise.” I slipped into a seat at the back, my black mask hiding every feature. Ashley got busted because she couldn't bear such anger within her. "I am Rodriguez, son of Ophelia and the late Alpha, and I have decided who the next Alpha will be." Rodriguez declared, pointing at himself, his voice cold and menacing. "I, Rodriguez, will be the next Alpha of the Midnight Prowlers pack," he declared furiously as he clenched his fists tightly. So how dare you declare yourself alpha?" Logan asked as he stood up from his chair and quickly walked up to Rodriguez, dragging him by his collar.
