Chapter One: A New Beginning Aqua’s heart raced as she walked through the imposing iron gates of Crestwood High. Another town, another school, another chance to start over—if only it were that simple. At 5'10", her presence commanded attention, but she preferred to stay unnoticed. Her dark skin glowed under the morning sun, and her eyes, a striking shade of amber, held secrets untold. She pulled her hood tighter, hoping to shield herself from the prying eyes she could already feel on her.

I rush into the arena, and the sight in front of me makes me pause. In the middle of the pit is a massive three-tailed fox, its white fur gleaming under the dim lights. The crowd is on their feet, screaming and roaring with bloodlust. The fox is surrounded by five wolves and a panther, each one circling, waiting for an opening. But it’s not just any fox. “Shit,” I mutter, my heart racing. It’s Legion.

he muttered to himself. Dave scrolled through Aurora's photos one by one. Apart from being fashionable, her photogenic face made her look perfect in every photoshoot. From any angle, she looked stunning. All the products she endorsed looked classy, although some of them were clearly high-end brands he recognized. Dave's smile appeared instantly when he saw Aurora's post from three days ago, a silhouette photo of Aurora against a sunset backdrop at Watu Kodok Beach, captured by her with the caption "With him."

I am this pack’s alpha and he will let us through. I blast my aura out, feeling the guard stare at me, shocked as they each flinch, feeling its power around them. “My name is Aurora Anderson, and I am your alpha. Let us through!” I command, as I see the flicker of recognition on his face. Dropping to his knees, he acknowledges my authority by baring his neck, no doubt signalling my arrival through a mind link. He signals to the guard and the gates open. Too late to turn back now.

Power rolled off her in waves. “What the hell is that?” Fenris shouted from across the battlefield. Aurora’s mouth opened. When she spoke, her voice carried across the entire area: “I am Aurora. I am the moon’s daughter. And you will not harm my pack.” Light exploded from her body. It washed over us, over my fighters, over Fenris and his mercenaries. Everywhere it touched, my soldiers’ wounds began healing. Broken bones knitted. Our injured and dying soldiers were restored. I suspected she had this ability from the first day I saw her—how she manifested her power. I couldn’t wait for my plan to begin.

Is she tired of living? “How dare you, Aurora?” I growl in anger as I begin to take slow steps towards her, “how dare you?” “Luna's things are still in the room master” Aurora tells me, “and by the law of the pack, no one is allowed to enter that room aside from Michelle. I know you announced that Natalie will become the new Luna of the pack but until the mark and mate ceremony, we do not consider her Luna.. She is still talking when I grab her neck and push her against the wall, my hands tightening around her with each passing moment.

Darius The next morning started off bright and early. The clear blue skies and the birds chirping away brought the serenity and tranquility we experienced on our initial day at the resort. Aurora was quickly recovering from the dehydration she was experiencing at a remarkable pace. “That’s why she’s the white luna.” I thought to myself. My wolf howled with a sense of pride in its voice. It still didn’t sink in how important Aurora is to the unification of all the wolf packs and kingdoms.

Alesha's brisk walk through the moonlit forest suddenly came to a halt when she stumbled upon a sight that sent a jolt through her senses. In the dappled moonlight, she discovered an unconscious figure lying amidst the underbrush, a woman covered in wounds and the telltale scent of blood lingering in the air. As Alesha drew closer, she recognized the familiar features of Carla, the former Luna of the Blue Moon Pack.

Nova’s POV I could see the sun starting set. It was casting beautiful hues of orange, pink and gold, across the early evening sky. I didn’t know what was going to happen next, so I decided to take a moment to just take in and absorb the beauty of nature. I had the ominous sensation if I didn’t figure out a way out of this, I wasn’t going to be seeing another sunset.

Pain and power surged together in a storm I couldn’t control. When the pain faded, I wasn’t on my hands and knees anymore.I was standing tall on four legs. Snow-white fur glistened in the moonlight, glowing faintly as though kissed by frost. My reflection in a pool of water caught my breath—eyes blazing ice-blue, sharp and unyielding. A wolf, but unlike any I’d ever seen. Ethereal. Untouchable. “My name is Aurora.” I hear in my mind.
